Galeş is an intriguing Romanian village which has maintained age-old traditions. There is a museum of rural life, a working water mill and a traditional hat-maker (we can arange complimentary visits, please ask). The village is on the edge of mountain pastures, with cows, horses and goats passing by the house every day on the way to and from pasture. The normal chageover day is Monday, but we are flexible about this, depending on demand. Please ask us if you wish to change the start day. Wizzair flies from London-Luton to Targu Mures, which is approximately 70km from Galeş. Sibiu airport is 10km from Galeş.
