The Casa di Mare Apartments are 6 holiday flats, arranged in 2 rows of bungalows and located above the Kouremenos Bay on the east coast of Crete. Each apartment has air conditioning and a kitchenette. 5 apartments have 4 accommodations each, the sixth one can accommodate 5 persons. In front of each apartment there is a large balcony with a pergola and views of the bay, and in the rear there is another smaller balcony with views of the neighbouring mountains. Each of the 6 holiday flats has 40 square meters of floor space. The bedrooms are furnished either with 2 single beds or one double bed. The living-area has a TV set and 2 more beds or a double convertible sofa. In the living-room of one the apartments there are a double convertible sofa plus an additional bed, so it suits for up to 5 persons. A fully equipped kitchenette attaches to the living and dining-room. The kitchenettes are equipped with electric hobs, sinks and refrigerators. They have the essential pots and pans, plates and dishes, cutlery and glassware, and electric coffee-makers. The bathrooms have either bath-tubs or showers. In the gardens there is a swimming pool which has a shallow section for children, and a sun terrace with a pergola and deck chairs. The apartment facility lies above the coast, some 60 meters from the sandy beach in a large olive grove. The village of Palekastro is 2 kms west of here. There are restaurants, tavernas, bars and shops of many kind. Iraklion airport is 156 kms away, Sitia airport 23 kms.
