The living-area on the ground floor includes a living-room with couch set and open fireplace as well as a dining-area with integrated open-plan kitchen. Wide glass sliding-doors at the sea front of the living-room open towards the terrace and the garden. A bedroom with a double bed, and another bedroom with a single bed are located on the ground floor as well. Both have sea views and share a common balcony. Furthermore, the ground floor includes a bathroom with a bath-tub. The third bedroom with a double bed and sea view, and the attached shower bathroom are located on the top floor. This bedroom also has windows on the north side towards the sea, and another window on the east side with views of Cape Scaleta and the Kouloukonas Mountains. On demand, the convertible sofa in the living-room serves as the sixth accommodation (surcharge 10.00 Euros per night). Garden furniture, deck chairs and a large umbrella are available in the garden. The swimming pool has 23 square meters of size. It is framed by natural stone and located in the right hand half of the garden. Green lawn surrounds the swimming pool, and the garden borders are decorated with small olive-trees, flowers and other ornamental plants. The 3 Stavromenos Villas were built on a terraced slope aside the village, and completed in springtime, 2006. The New National Road from Rethymnon (12 kms) to Iraklion (71 kms) runs between the village and the beach. There is an hourly public bus service in both directions, during the season every 30 minutes. Down here there are also several bigger hotels, and during the season a variety of shops and restaurants are open.
