Las Palmas is an excellent location from all points of view: the downtown area and its main attractions are about 10 minutes by bus; you can easily do it on foot. There is a bus stop with more than 8 different bus lines that cross all Cuernavaca: it is on the corner of Tabasco Street and Morelos Avenue, a block from the house. In an area of about 3 blocks, within walking distance, there are two supermarkets, several restaurants, four major banks, internet facilities, schools, a hospital, drugstore, private doctors, a vet, a travel agency and many kinds of shops. There is also the bus line direct to Taxco, Acapulco and Ixtapa. For people who want to learn Spanish, there are 4 school within walking distance or if you would rather go to the State University there is a direct bus.

Cuernavaca represents centuries of history with landmarks like the Palacio de Cortés,the Cathedral, Teopanzolco Pyramids, the natural beauty of its gardens, and relaxed atmosphere that will appeal to its visitors. It is also a reknown place for Spanish immersion programs as there are 17 language schools.
