The cottage is located on the east coast of Scotland in one of the sunniest area known as the East Neuk. This is a good base for walkers and birdwathching while the surrounding area has much to offer with wonderful gardens, quaint old fishing ports and historic towns. If you just want to relax you can stroll along the beach examining the rock pools or sit in the garden and enjoy the spectacular seaviews.
Fife is a haven for golfers with over 40 golf courses, there are two excellent local courses on the doorstep and St Andrews also nearby making this an ideal centre for a golfing holiday.

Fife is in the centre of Scotland and is an ideal location for a relaxed holiday. In addition to many local attractions this is a good location for visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow and day trips to the highlands and Loch Lommond are quite feasible.
Lower Largo is on the sunny south coast of Fife, know as the East Neuk. This stretch of the coast contains several attractive villages which were previously fishing ports. Fisihing is now limited but some of the ports are still full of life and there are many excellent restaurants with fresh local fish and seafood. One of the best is situated in St Monans.

Lower Largo is a charming old fishing village on the East Neuk of Fife situated on the north side of the Forth River.
Lower Largo was the home of Alexander Serkirk, a local seaman whose life and adventures inspired Daniel Defoe to write the Adventures of Robinson Crusoe.
