Heating is provided through the timber floor as well as a wood stove when the weather is colder. A 30cm roof isolation protects against the heat in the summer. The gite with its 60 square metres provides room for 4/5 persons. It consists of a wood-panelled hall, a well equipped modern kitchen, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms each with two single beds and cupboards 90x200cm. In the living room, you'll find a round table, chairs and a comfortable sofa bed. Equipment included: satellite television, DVD and CD player, books and games. The cottage is designed and equipped for disabled and living with external and internal door widths of 80cm. The bathroom is accessed through a sliding door and is fitted with an easy access floor-level, Italian shower with hinged doors and a WC which can also be equipped with a seat with adjustable heights armrest. In the bathroom and the bedrooms are the necessary motion radii. You can drive a car right up to the North Terrace and a alu ramp allows easy access to the house on the north and south side. Pets are welcome!
Town and location of object
The gite and the studio are situated in a 2000 m² plot in a quiet residential area on the outskirt of the small village of Rivarennes. Both houses have separate entrance and terraces. For trips/holidays without a car the accomodation is only 5 minutes away from the station. You can take the train to Chinon, or to Tours. From Tours, the TGV takes you to Paris Montparnasse station in 55 minutes. All trains have disabled access.
