The Normandy style house, awarded 4 stars for comfort and charm, is in the centre of the attractive village of Volonne. This town is situated against a southern mountainside of the Provençal Alps and enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year because of its favourable location. On the other side of this newly built house, you have a large, enjoyable terrace (14 x 6 m) with an enclosed heated swimming pool (5 x 3 m), comfortable garden furniture and a barbecue. Because of the high location of the house, you have a fantastic view over the old town centre, the valley of the Durance and the surrounding mountains.

Volonne is a small village with terraces, cafés and fountains, typical of many in this lovely part of Provence and known as the little Nice of the Alps because of the amount of sunshine it receives, thanks to its southernly aspect. Here in the southern moutainside of the Provençal Alps there are many advantages in summer. During daytime, you receive the same amount of sunshine as in the rest of the provence, while it cools off during nighttime. Furthermore you can combine both spectacular mountain scenery and gentle Provencal countryside.
