The gite is an old stone built farmhouse offering a mixture of traditional and modern styling to provide a comfortable centrally heated holiday home. Entrance to the house is on the ground floor through double doors. The newly renovated large kitchen/diner is very well equipped including microwave, double oven/cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dish washer. Local markets will encourage you to try out new recipes - and then there is the wine…… The kitchen also benefits from a log fire to enjoy a cosy evening in the kitchen after a long day hiking or cycling in the nearby forests of the Haut Languedoc National Park The large lounge complete with traditional beams and large log fire place is the perfect place to relax or escape the heat of the sun. There is also a TV with satellite reception so that you can keep up to date with UK events. There is a Hi-fi and DVD player. A games console will amuse the children and there is also a range of traditional family games too. Upstairs on the first floor, there are two good sized double rooms both with fitted wardrobes and a sink and vanity unit. One room has a double bed and one room has twin beds (another double bed is available if preferred). A cot is available if required. There is a newly built shower room and WC along the corridor. For an extra supplement of £125 per week further along the corridor there is another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
