CAPACITY: Designed for a single person (standard occupancy), but space is sufficient for 2 persons. BUILDINGS: A concrete/brick basement building with a wooden 2-storey pavilion on top. The roof of the inner part of the pavilion is insulated with foil against heat. ROOMS: The basement comprising 1 living-room and a kitchenette (with refrigerator, gas stove). The pavilion upstairs comprising 1 bedroom (with wall fan), surrounded by a roofed balcony. The bathroom with hot shower (gas), lavatory and Western type toilette is separate next to the staircase. FURNITURE: Main furniture is a queen-sized bed with mattress (soft on one side and hard on the other), table, chairs. GARDEN: The privately used garden extends between the pavilion and the pond. HOUSE INFRASTRUCTURE: Electricity (own meter), 2 gas tanks (15 kg each), tap water (drinkable, own meter), telephone line (for 2 rooms). EXTRA HOUSE FACILITIES: Private telephone equipment, internet (ADSL and satellite) connection, drinking water supply (bottles and tanks). RENT: The following quotations apply for standard occupancy (1 person). Baan Sammi Nature Resort is situated on the margin of the village, Ban Pa Yang Poi, in a beautiful rural landscape. Huge rice-fields, numerous irrigation ditches, canals and some streams hemmed by natural vegetation, scattered small rural villages with wooden houses and farm gardens are characteristic features of this not much developed landscape. This area is part of the huge Chiang Mai plain, a widely broadened valley of the Ping River. The plain is about 25 kilometers wide and delimited by the western mountain range (foothills of Doi Suthep bordering the City of Chiang Mai), eastern mountain range (foothills bordering the district village of Doi Saket), and northern hills (beyond San Sai and Doi Saket with the Mae Kuang Dam). The hills and mountains can be seen from the resort at clear sight, nearly every day except on hazy days during hot season.
