PLACE: On elevated ground nearby the big pond, with view over the whole length of the pond towards northern direction.

CAPACITY: Designed for a single person or a couple (standard occupancy), but space is sufficient for 4 persons.
BUILDINGS: A detached bungalow (Plumeria Bungalow) plus a separate but nearby wooden pavilion (Khilek Pavilion). Bases concrete; walls of the bungalow are made of bricks and concrete blocks, the bedroom (air-con) with cavity double wall for superior heat insulation. Floor is of tiles/stone, except for bedroom which is of hardwood. The roofs of both bungalow and pavilion are insulated with foil against heat and have openings on the top of the roofs for air circulation.
ROOMS: The bungalow comprising 1 bedroom (with air-con plus ceiling fan), 1 bathroom with hot shower (electric), lavatory and Thai type toilette, 1 separate bathroom with Western type toilette and lavatory, 1 living and dining room (with ceiling fan), 1 kitchen (with refrigerator, gas stove, microwave) and storage room, 1 separate small laundry room (with Thai-type washing machine). The pavilion comprises of 1 bedroom upstairs (with ceiling fan, lavatory and urinal) and 1 roofed and screened balcony (with refrigerator and ceiling fan).
FURNITURE: Main furniture is two queen-sized beds (one each in the bungalow and pavilion) with mattresses (soft on one side and hard on the other), dining table, chairs, easy-chairs. To some extent, extra furniture (e.g. writing table) can be included, and others taken out on request. The bedroom includes a built-in wardrobe and a built-in room safe.
GARDEN: The privately used garden extends between the bungalow and the pavilion.
HOUSE INFRASTRUCTURE: Electricity (own meter), gas tank (15 kg), tap water (drinkable, own meter) and storage tank (200 liter), telephone line (for 2 rooms).
EXTRA HOUSE FACILITIES: Private telephone equipment, internet (ADSL and satellite) connection, drinking water supply (bottles and tanks).
RENT: The following quotations apply for standard occupancy (1 or 2 persons). RATE PER DAY: 1,200 Baht (THB), or 25 Euro, or 32 US$ per night (minimum 3 nights). Baan Sammi Nature Resort is situated on the margin of the village, Ban Pa Yang Poi, in a beautiful rural landscape. Huge rice-fields, numerous irrigation ditches, canals and some streams hemmed by natural vegetation, scattered small rural villages with wooden houses and farm gardens are characteristic features of this not much developed landscape. This area is part of the huge Chiang Mai plain, a widely broadened valley of the Ping River. The plain is about 25 kilometers wide and delimited by the western mountain range (foothills of Doi Suthep bordering the City of Chiang Mai), eastern mountain range (foothills bordering the district village of Doi Saket), and northern hills (beyond San Sai and Doi Saket with the Mae Kuang Dam). The hills and mountains can be seen from the resort at clear sight, nearly every day except on hazy days during hot season.
