Large, cosy holiday house close to the French Atlantic coast (20 min.) at the edge of the small village Champagne. In low and middle season substantially reduced prices (starting from 250 euro) for small groups (up to 3 persons). Sleeps 6 to 8, pets allowed, 140 square meters, 3 bedrooms (1 double bed + 1 single bed/2 floor beds/1 double bed), bath with bath tub, WC, bidet, second WC, shower, thrid WC with shower, gr. kitchen, cooling freezing combination, dishwasher, washing machine, gr. living room, TV (French), DVD player, telephone, liquid gas central heating. Former farm (main building of 1860) with much place, very large yard, close large pasture, 5-m-swimming pool with (nearly) chemistry-free UV disinfection for exclusive use, terrace, garden, completely enclosed (wall and/or hedges), many possibilities for playing (basketball, football). Numerous trip possibilities: Marennes 15 min., Royan 25 min., Ile d'Oléron 30 min., Roche away 12 min, La Rochelle 40 min.

The house originates from 1860 and we largely tried to keep the character of the old farm. Nevertheless there is modern comfort, like the sanitary appliances, heating, and the kitchen equipment. Our goal was it to offer a house in a surrounding where the guests are not in the midst of the hectic situation of one of the near-by sea-side resorts, but enable them to enjoy the peace of the French country life. The ocean, however, is not far away - 15 minutes by car bring you to a beach at the bay of Marennes, after 35 minutes you are in La Palmyre or on the beautiful beaches of the Ile d'Oléron. For provisions and shopping of all kind Rochefort (12 min.) and La Rochelle (40 min.) are easy reachable.

Champagne is a small sympathetic village with 500 inh., perfect panoramic view on its charmful silhouette with the old romanic church, in the village there is a baker - otherwise one can get everything in the neighbouring small town Pont l'Abbé d'Arnoult (2.5 km).arrival and distances
