Our vacation home is approx. 75 km northwest from Fortaléza, the capital in the Federal State Ceará, in the small fishing village Taiba, which lies embedded between enormous dunes and the south Atlantic. It offers place for up to 10 persons and has 5 bedrooms, all beds is equipped with mosquito nets, 5 baths with in each case WC and shower, and a well furnished, roomy kitchen. There is an external grill and an external shower. The shade donating circulating Veranda invites to relax in hammocks, which are numerously in the house present. The house is on 2000 square meter a large property in-grown in a beautiful garden with Coconut-trees, sugar cane plants and banana plants, Lime-trees, Papaya, papyrus and many other exotic plants. There are many possibilities for children to play. From living room and of the Veranda you will have sea view. The footpath to the almost endless and little populated sand beach amounts to only approx. 300 feet, where the Atlantic invites with its all the time approx. 80°F warm water there to bath and plays for hours with the waves or for bathing in crystal-clear warm lagoons nearby the ocean. In about only 5 minutes you will reach a small supermarket, a further, better more equipped will be reached 600 feet further. There are several very good restaurants, under it two Brazilian, of which one has been announced in a Brazilian travel guide as the best restaurant of Ceará, a French restaurant, a Swiss-Brazilian restaurant and an Italian Pizzeria, each with high hygenic standard. The region has 340 sunny days in the year - that means fair weather warranty!!! The average daytime temperatures are appropriate the whole year over invariably between 86°F and 90°F during the day and for 77°F to 79°F at night with a constant pleasant breeze, whereby the warmth is very bearable. Rain falls rarely, if at all, then mainly from March to May, but nearly only at night, starting from in the morning, at the latest however at noon nearly the sun shines again and again. Hurricanes and heavy earthquakes are not there in this region. There was and is also in the future extremely improbable from geophysical view, a Tsunami also never was expected. On property our housekeepers, a Brazilian family live. They inhabit a small separate house on property, maintain the garden, guard the house and worry gladly also about the desires of the guests such as breakfast prepare, to laundry washing and the house cleaning, leave you however otherwise completely discrete in peace.
