Following a barbecue on the terrace, you will appreciate the tree garden for sunny or shadow nap or family activities (petanque, tennistable,..) or walk down for a dive at Bestouan beach (5mn walk). The 7 rooms inside (living-room, dining-room-veranda and 5 rooms) will lodge 10 persons confortably. 2 satellite TV, DVD, hi-fi or games will garranty animated evenings. Ancient fishing port rebuilt in the 18th century, Cassis has become the most charming station along the coast surrounded by two exceptional domains: the Cap Canaille, highest european cliff (418m) and the Calanques, 23km of untouched rocky inlets until Marseille. In Cassis, you will visit the calanques walking or by boat, enjoy its beaches, walk into the medieval village streets or enjoy the local white wine production on the harbor terraces,.. The 12 Calanques hills, sort of Provencal fiords, emerged 6 millions years ago. The calanques are deep narrow valleys, surrounded by abrupt rocky cliffs, dug in former times by rivers which were flodded by the sea in 10000 years ago. Today, the tiny beaches surrounded with high white walls falling into the turquoise water offer an impressive panorama to the walkers and boat trippers and a well known spot to rock climbers.
