Annie and André welcome you to there authentic provençal farmhouse with pool(self catering and bed and breakfast available) which lies near the village of Aramon, snuggled in 17 acres of gentle hills and valleys with views stretching across the countryside, within reach of Avignon, les Baux (35 km), Saint-Rémy, Nîmes, Arles (35 km), Uzés (35 km), the Lubéron (with Gordes and Roussillon: 40 km) and the Camargue, the coast and beaches of the Mediterranean (80 kms), and makes an ideal base from which to explore and to relax. 1) The Chambres d'Hôtes: There are three pleasant and comfortable double or twin bedrooms (one with a mezzanine, which sleeps three), each with a private bathroom with either bath or shower and toilets, heated and furnished with pretty country furniture: - on the ground floor, there is "the old stable" room, with bath-shower, mini- bar and private terrace, - on the first floor, we can find: "Clair de Lune" (the mezzanine room) and the "little suite Coco" (one room with a living) and also "the Pink kitchen". This kitchen, which can be used only by the guests of the firs floor, is a fully equipped kitchen to share, fitted with a large refrigerator with freezer, a ceramic cooking top, a microwave oven, and dishes. Guests of the first floor will prepare there their breakfast (tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter and jam provided) and will cook any other meal they would like. - also at the disposal of all the guests, on the ground floor: -a summer kitchen opening onto the terrace and garden, equipped with a barbecue and crockery, where you can have your breakfast and your other meals. 2) The Studios and Apartments: The two Studios and two Apartments are available on a self catering basis either for a minimum of three nights, or for a week or more. They are cosy and comfortably furnished and each opens onto a private terrace and the garden, equipped with sunbeds and parasols and there is a communal barbecue. They have either a kitchenette or a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, heating, and telephone tele-sejour. Laundry facilities are available and linen and towels (changed once a week) and a little cleaning are included.

AVIGNON , Vaucluse , Provence - Alpes - Cote of Azur , France

Avignon (12 kms), is an ancient and beautiful university town with much to see, the Palais des Papes in particular, and has good shopping, markets and many restaurant and cafes. Les Baux-de-Provence (35 kms), is a village with a great historical past, strikingly situated on a great crag of rock with fine views from the castle towards Arles and the Camargue. Arles (35kms) founded by the romans and with its associations with the painter Vincent van Gogh, is the gateway to the Camargue, a vast protected reserve, which is home to flocks of pink flamingoes, passing migratory birds and herds of wild horses. Les-Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (80kms), is a famous meeting place for gypsies and once a year there is huge, colourful festival, with lots of music and dancing. St Rémy-de-Provence birthplace of the astrologer Nostradamus in 1503 and Uzès one of the most charming towns in Provence are both 35 kms away. Orange (25 kms) has one of the finest and best preserved Roman theatres, as does Nîmes (40 kms), which also has fine ornamental 18th century gardens. The hills and plains of Le Luberon are 40kms away, where you can visit the Provencal villages of Gordes, Roussillon, Oppède-le-Vieux.
