The domain is built like a small village in the middle of woods and fields. It is truly unique of its kind and quality in the area. The houses, of typical Perigordian construction, consist of two vacation rental units, making the sleeping capacity varied between 4-7 people depending on the type. These houses offer you all the modern day comforts to make an agreeable holiday in France. The original farm buildings are constructed from regional ochre stone dating from the 18th century which have been tastefully restored. These include the restaurant, bar and rest area, front office, six rustic hotel rooms, several lodges. The “centre of life” is arranged around a superb barn (bar-common area) and a large swimming pool, allowing you to relax and leave the children to run around. There are beautiful walks through woods and fields with frolicking horses and ponies for your pleasure. On site activities: swimming, tennis, volley-ball, table tennis, boules, billiards, play area for the children, … Close to the Resort: horseback riding, cycling, rock climbing, caving, canoeing/kayaking, fishing, varied day trips.

Gavaudun is a typical and small village, dominated by its 11th century castle with a remarkable dungeon. It is nestled between the valleys of the Lot and the Dordogne rivers and is close to the majestic châteaux of Biron and Bonaguil as well as the bastides of Monflanquin and Monpazier. You can find the house of Bernard Palissy 6km away… Sarlat and its festival 65 km away… Rocamadour, Saint Emilion, Les Eyzies, Cahors, Moissac and many other exceptional sites waiting for your visit. Périgord is also particularly renowned for its fine cuisine: duck, truffles, cepe mushrooms, foie gras, … accompanied by the wines of Bergerac, Monbazillac, Cahors, … What pleasure to walk around the local markets!
