Casa Nicu - always a pleasure!

We had a wonderful time in Casa Nicu with our almost 1 year old son. The flat is very comfortably furnished, very clean, the equipment of high quality and everything was there. We catered for ourselves for the most part. But the food from cook Adriana is also highly recommended and it is nice to have this option. Especially with a toddler, where eating out can sometimes be exhausting, we were still able to enjoy local home cooking. The produce from the village that Nicu got us was also very very tasty. We often used the small cosy courtyard to relax, where our son could crawl and play. Vale is also a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

Everything was fine. Service on the part of the landlord, starting with the transfer and pick-up after the breakdown with the bicycle, as well as the furnishings and comfort of the holiday home could not have been better. The location in Vale is quiet, central and a good starting point for day trips to Transylvanian-Saxon fortified churches in the Sibiu-Sighisoara region. We drove approx. 1900 km with the rental Dacia, got to know the country and its people from different backgrounds and advise anyone who prefers a somewhat different holiday away from mass tourism to visit this country while it can still show a hint of its originality.

The small old farmhouse has been lovingly restored by the owner and radiates cosiness. The enclosed garden offers space for a dog or children. The location offers a good starting point for various activities and day trips. Particularly noteworthy is the good care by the landlord and staff on site - especially various services such as the provision of basic foodstuffs and the possibility to be pampered with whole menus.
