Perfect holiday home with hospitable landlords.

We chose the holiday home because it has a great location. You can relax at the private beach of the accommodation, but you can also be in the beautiful city of Tropea in less than 10 minutes. There you can stroll, eat, admire culture and landscapes. The holiday home is well equipped and has 2 bedrooms (with double beds). In addition, there is the possibility of pulling out a sofa bed in the living room. The terrace with garden and sun loungers invites you to linger. The evenings can be spent there wonderfully. We were there with 2 children (1 and 3) and that worked great too. The landlady is very hospitable and always approachable. All in all, we can recommend the holiday home and are very satisfied.

A beautiful accommodation in a great location

We (4-person family; children: 11 and 13 years old) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Mimosa. Fulvia and Stefano are very friendly and willingly provide help and tips when needed. The vacation apartment is a semi-detached house on a huge plot of land where children of all ages can find plenty of space to play football, swing, or swim in the pool. The property is truly an oasis of tranquility, far from the hustle and bustle of beach resorts, but can be easily reached by car (which is necessary) within 10 minutes (Capo Vaticano) to 20 minutes (Tropea). In short, we highly recommend Villa Mimosa, especially for families with children.

Treat your Senses and Enjoy an Authentic Calabrian Experience

Staying at Salvatore and Lisa’s Casa Stella was a sensory delight. First, the property is beautiful - vibrant flowers, mature trees full of colorful fruit and luscious green gardens. You can smell the fresh air and the various blossoms in pots, on trees and on the vines. The sounds of birds and nearby farm animals serenade you throughout the day. Last, but not least, the culinary delights of Calabria are at your fingertips. Caria is a historic village with a variety of markets and bars, and even an old castle that has been beautifully restored. I would recommend renting a car to experience everything the area has to offer - charming villages, gorgeous beaches and lovely landscapes. Having a car allows you to enjoy the warm beaches in the morning or early afternoon, and return to the cool breezes of Caria in the late afternoon and evening. Salvatore and Lisa are amazing hosts. I would certainly recommend Sal and Lisa’s property for anyone wanting an authentic Calabrian experience.
