The arrival was smooth and well organized, time arrangements for arrival and departure could be clarified in advance by phone and WhatsApp. The property is very large and nicely laid out. The very large and covered terrace area is perfect to spend the whole day outdoors. The pool is a good size and clean (if only about 6m x 12m and not as specified in the description of the house 7m x 14m). There is enough space for several cars in the driveway. Unfortunately there were a lot of stray dogs in the whole area. The garden gate had to be closed at all times to keep them away from the property. The said dogs became difficult to move freely in the vicinity. Also, the nights were disturbed by loud dog barking for hours. Unfortunately we had to pay on our arrival another deposit (350 €) although a deposit to the organizer, in advance, was made. At the departure was a tour of the house and on the entire property made and everything controlled. As there were no defects caused by us, the deposit was paid out again. Unfortunately, our holiday was later clouded by the fact that in retrospect, when we were already back home, were accused of having stolen or damaged items that were not conspicuous in the joint inspection and control in connection with the homeowner. It was allegedly a filter flap within the pool stolen, according to the owner. With a very good conscience I can and may claim that I have not spent my family vacation with 2 small babies to dismantle a pool door to take them to Germany, where we unfortunately have no garden pool. The other allegations, such as Actually, due to the absurdity of this allegation, I do not want to go on "12 stolen placemats".

Warm welcome by the owners. Nice accommodation with nice garden, outdoor area and spacious swimming pool. Spacious bedrooms with unfortunately very hard beds. Need to replace mattresses? Renovated bathrooms. Kitchen very small and very outdated. Well equipped with crockery etc. Refrigerator is in living room and makes a lot of noise 24/7. Accommodation is in a quiet area and quite far from facilities such as shops and the like. No or hardly any mobile coverage. WiFi available.

Great accommodation

We stayed in this accommodation for a week and were very satisfied. The landlords are very helpful and friendly. Although we arrived at the accommodation at 2 am, the landlords waited for us and gave us a place to stay and drove us to the accommodation the next morning. Everyone was really accommodating and I can only recommend holidaying there. The place is a small holiday village with many locals and there is also a small supermarket and restaurant. However, you have to have a car there. We didn't rent one and were somewhat limited in our activities. A taxi to the beach and back to the accommodation costs a bit more. The beach nearby is rocky and small. You have to go to Catania for a sandy beach
As for the accommodation itself, it is very nice. As you can see in the pictures, you have a view of the Edna from the large terrace! Great!!! The kitchen was well equipped and you could also barbecue. However, for a holiday with a toddler or baby this accommodation is somewhat unsuitable, the floors are either stone, marble or tile and sharp edges, as well as steep stairs can be a major accident hazard. This aspect and the dependence on a means of transport are the only things I would find fault with. Otherwise, highly recommended. Thank you for a lovely holiday!
