Barrier-free holiday homes & apartments in Großenbrode Großenbrode

This was our third holiday in the holiday flat Meeresrauschen 11 in the beach park Großenbrode. The place is great for families with children, the wide beach that goes gently into the water is a dream! The promenade is just being finished and has become really great. The flat is about 70 m from the beach, the beach chair belonging to the flat is a little further away, directly at the pier and the newly designed beach playground and near the beach bar. Super practical! There were also toilets and food options (ice cream, gyros, chips, pizza, fish sandwiches, ...) in the immediate vicinity.

We stayed in this small holiday flat as a family with a 20-month-old toddler. The flat is very child-friendly, there is a cot, but our little one already slept in the loft bed downstairs. The fall-out protection available in the flat made it possible! Sand toys as well as normal toys are available.
We didn't miss anything in the flat, it is well equipped and everything worked and was intact and clean. Fly screens on the windows keep the mosquitoes out, the dishwasher does the work for you. Thanks to the washing machine, we didn't need quite so much luggage and could wash in between.

In the evening, after a hot day at the beach or on a warm summer morning, the great balcony with a view of the greenery invites you to have breakfast or dinner.

We can recommend the flat and it was certainly not the last time we stayed there!

First of all, I have to say that due to difficult corona conditions for tourists to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, our short holiday at the Bay of Lübeck was only second choice. But after we arrived and were welcomed and looked after in the friendliest way by Mrs Sehmel with her husband, cat Theo and dog Willi, this cottage is absolutely first choice. Equipped with the necessary documents, we were immediately shown around the premises. A cottage in an old fishing area. The rooms are manageable in area and height, the kitchen is large and very nicely furnished. Nothing is missing. Via a narrow, steep staircase, which is absolutely safe for children, you quickly reach the upper floor, where, as described, there are 2 rooms with 2 beds each. Despite the somewhat cramped situation, the owner has nevertheless managed to create enough storage space for the things you have with you. The roof niches were cleverly used here. Everything is tip-top clean and well maintained. The bathroom with shower is big enough. The shower is very nice.
The holiday home is a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Großenbrode, but that's good. The way to the beach and the centre leads through a nature trail, which is interesting for both young and old. It's hard to believe that there used to be 2 runways for sea rescue planes here. We had the bikes with us and for the last 3 days there were 3 of us with our grandchild (4 years). There is a garage for the bikes, which can also be used by the owner and people from the 2nd holiday home to store the bikes. The location allows you to cycle to Puttgarden and back. A fantastically developed route with cycle paths allows excellent cycle tours, also to Heiligenhafen. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Sehmel family once again for the great, albeit unfortunately short, service. We are sure to come back again.

Very well equipped flat, with everything your heart desires. 3 large televisions, electrically adjustable slatted frames in the beds, TV recliner and XL beach chair. Furthermore, the sauna and the fireplace. Even spices are available in the fully equipped kitchen. Everything is tastefully furnished and there is a storage room in the bike shed for my SUP and trolley. Picking up the flat key in Heiligenhafen was also uncomplicated.
The friendly communication with Mr Eggert rounds everything off. We have already booked again for September.
