Very nice hosts ?

We had the apartment 50 sqm, with a great view from the balcony. A clean flat awaited us. Bicycle tours to the Ulsterradweg and Milseburgradweg start from the house. We can highly recommend the circular route in Hilders No. 3 from the community centre / info approx. 8km. The extra tour Hilderser from the house, great landscape, plants and the animals. The way is worthwhile! After the tour you come to the Kneipptret facility, a treat for your feet. We would like to thank the Klein family and we will definitely be back. Stay healthy.

The landlord responded quickly to the request and was available for further questions.
The flats were very nice and clean. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessities. The bathroom and toilet were in good condition. We were 10 adults and 3 children and had enough space. The common room was very advantageous with the large number of people, we used it for meals and games evenings
In the sunny late summer weather we were also able to use the garden, which was well kept and provided plenty of tables and chairs. To our surprise, there was also a cosily furnished garden shed.
The region is very beautiful. We were able to go for a short walk, had we had more time there would have been more attractions in the area.

A really wonderful holiday

Simply summarised, two wonderful weeks of holiday for my wife and me. A small, comfortably furnished holiday flat to relax and find peace
My wife and I received a warm and friendly welcome from the Trapp family. From the beginning, a small guide was available with orientation for leisure activities and the like. As my wife is pregnant, we were also given telephone numbers and addresses of doctors and the like on a short request in advance. Fam Trapp was also very accommodating in advance, for example with regard to the Corona situation and if something should go wrong, such as new travel bans. On site, they were very friendly and helpful, even with carpooling to the shops and the like. At short notice it was also possible to host my father-in-law and brother-in-law for a weekend for a small fair surcharge. The surrounding area is very inviting for hikers and nature lovers. For people looking for peace and relaxation, this place is simply to be recommended. Next year we hope to have another holiday here and this time the three of us :-)

Enjoy a dream vacation with a house or apartment in Hilders and marvel at the sights of the Rhön region! For instance, visit the Catholic parish church St. Bartholomäus from the late 18th century or the impressive half-timbered houses from the 17th century. It also gets exciting at the Eberstein ruins. This is the ruin of a summit castle on the Tannenfels. Built in the 12th century, the castle was once the ancestral seat of the Lords of Eberstein, who were notorious as robber knights. Eventually, the destruction of the castle was ordered. From here, you have a magnificent view of the surroundings today. The Auersburg castle ruins are also impressive. "The Hochrhöner" also leads past fascinating sights, such as the Franciscan monastery on the Kreuzberg or the legendary rocky ridge of the Milseburg. In addition to the central locality, there are the districts of Batten with Findlos, Brand, Dietges, Dörmbach with Harbach, Eckweisbach, Liebhards with Steinbach and Oberbernhards, Rupsroth, Simmershausen, Unterbernhards, and Wickers. Once you have found your vacation apartment or house, you can consider your travel options. By car, you can take the A7 to Fulda. The B458 then leads to Hilders. By ICE train, you also travel to Fulda, which is not far away. From there, a bus line runs via Dipperz to Hilders. Alternatively, you can use the leisure bus with a bicycle trailer. This route starts from Fulda along the Milseburgradweg. This route also takes you up to Wasserkuppe and along the Ulstertal bike path.
