This hut was actually quite ok, only that it was not played properly in many places. In addition, the house mainly had a Smart Home control, which was very faulty. The tablet had to be replaced once, so almost nothing worked for 2 days of home entertainment. The lights were on day and night in a flashing party mood. After the tablet was replaced, the tablet was reset again. We paid around 4000 € for our stay, here I can expect a functioning system or compensation.

Very nice apartment and view but rooms are small and uncomfortable. There is no insulation between the rooms so you can hear every step someone makes above you.

Cleaning was very bad, we booked a cleaning for 100 euros and they just did nothing! Toilet was very dirty and no even trash bags inside the bins.

Gröbming is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hallstatt–Dachstein/Salzkammergut and thus part of a fascinating cultural landscape. The parish church in the village can be reached on foot from your holiday home in Gröbming. The building dates back to 1500. The church acquired its characteristic shape with the construction of the tower in the 17th century. Noteworthy are a Gothic Madonna and the Apostle Altar from the early 16th century. The Gröbming Museum provides an overview of the cultural history of the region and the life of the farmers. In the neighboring village of Öblarn is the Paula Grogger Museum. It is the home of the writer and playwright Paula Grogger.

Among the drinks, the Schilcher (or Schiller) is worth mentioning, a red wine (or rosé in the style of red wine) made from the local Blauer Wildbacher grape variety. Especially after the harvest in autumn, the young, sparkling, and not yet fermented wine is enjoyed in the Buschenschänken of the wineries and farms as Schilchersturm with roasted chestnuts. Lovers of high-proof spirits will find what they are looking for at the Mandlberggut distillery & Latschenbrennerei, which produces local whiskey as well as mountain pine and stone pine spirits.
