We spent a wonderful 7 days in this beautiful house in August. It was exactly as we had imagined. The pool is super nice for relaxing, spacious rooms, and a well-equipped kitchen… 1 bedroom has air conditioning - the other two do not. But at night, you can sleep excellently with the window open as the location is very quiet. We (2 adults and 2 kids) and my in-laws loved it. Matti was a great host with great communication beforehand - really wonderful ?

Wie sich herausstellt, entdeckten wir einen schönen Ort, der genau das bestätigte, was ich mir vorgestellt hatte.
Die Villa bietet atemberaubende Ausblicke—wirklich unvergesslich. Sie liegt in perfekter Entfernung zu den Nachbarhäusern und der Straße und vermittelt ein Gefühl von friedlicher Abgeschiedenheit. Durchdacht ausgestattet mit allem, was Sie während Ihres Aufenthalts benötigen könnten, von hochwertigem Küchenzubehör bis hin zu umweltfreundlichen Reinigungsprodukten, wurde das Zuhause mit Sorgfalt vorbereitet.
Es gibt viel Platz drinnen, um eine ruhige Ecke zu finden, und die Betten sind sehr bequem, was erholsame Nächte garantiert.
Der Eigentümer ist freundlich, zuverlässig und leicht zu kommunizieren – alles war genau wie versprochen.

The old town and the citadel were built during the Genoese rule in the 15th century. The narrow streets with their historical facades form a beautiful contrast to the spacious villas in the suburbs. The Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption Cathedral dates back to the 16th century. The tour continues to Bonifacio. From the plateau and the citadel, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the rooftops of the city and the azure blue Mediterranean Sea to Sardinia. Right next to the historic center is the Cimetière marin de Saint-François. The cemetery fascinates with its magnificent tombs and mausoleums. The tour concludes in the "most Corsican" of all the island's cities – at least according to writer Prosper Mérimée. It goes to the mountains to Sartène. In no other city can the atmosphere of Corsica be better captured.

This is the Tuscan grape variety Sangiovese. The largest growing area is on the east coast in the department of Haute-Corse.
