Apartment Tedo offers four two story houses of 60 square meters each. The houses lie 40 meters from the water a little up the mountain giving splendid unbroken views of the sea from the balconies at the front. All houses were completely renovated and re-furnished in the spring of 2003 and have air condition, satellite TV, fridge, living room, two bedrooms (2 and 4 beds). At the back there is a large terrace providing shade in the afternoon and the possibility to BBQ at night. There are further two terraces at the back with orange trees.

No matter if you are coming by car, train or plane Komarna is well connected to the outside world. The motorway from Zagreb is now open all the way to Split (July 15th 2004). Komarna is just off the main North-South highway (E65) that cuts along the coast. It is about 70 km. North of Dubrovnik and 120 km. South of Split. Coming from the North you will see a "Villa Bili"-sign on your right hand side approximately 12km. south of the town of Opuzen. Follow that sign and you're in Komarna. It is a small road on your right 700m after the stone with km 733. If you are coming from inland (Metkovic) turn left in Opuzen towards Dubrovnik and follow the instructions as if you were coming from the North. Coming from the South you'll pass the "Villa Bili"-sign on your left hand side about three km. after passing through the tourist town of Klek. Follow it. It is a small road on your left 300m after the stone with km 734.

The small village of Komarna lies on the Croatian coast 70 kilometres North of Dubrovnik. The town climbs up a mountain side giving almost all the red tiled houses a clear view of the azure Adriatic Sea beyond the beach. Komarna lies in the bay of Mali Ston engulfed by the mainland and the peninsula of Peljesac whose coasts are dotted with small uninhabited islands, reefs and cliffs offering a spectacular view much like Southern Thailand or Greece. There is no chance of getting bored though. Just three kilometres to the South you'll find the tourist town of Klek offering a wide selection of restaurants, bars, shops and discotheques, and there are a lot of historical sights nearby and world-class tourist attractions to be easily reached in a day-trip. The town of Komarna and surroundings include the ancient Greek colony of Narona in Neretva Valley, the holy place in Medjugorje and the world heritage site of Dubrovnik one hour’s drive to the South. And you may find accommodation for a great family holiday or senior holiday. The village has apartments in all sizes and all close to the Adriatic and with great sea view.

Additional Information

House & garden Each house has a living room with an open kitchen in lower floor. The upper floor has two bedrooms (both with air condition) and a bathroom. The house lies on a mountain so there is exit to the terrace (with BBQ) from the back bedroom (four beds). The master bedroom (two beds) has a balcony with view of the bay. The back terrace and garden (where there is a family of turtles living!) faces east so there is shade from noon on. The terrace is shared by the four houses but each house has a private roofed terrace in front of the house. The front terrace and the balcony have sea view and are facing west and are in the sun from noon onwards.
