„Santa Agata“ is a Tuscan farm house built of natural stone which we have carefully restored over the years. It is embedded in the marvellous hilly Tuscan countryside. It offers a great view of the old village of Castagneto Carducci, the ancient castle of Segelari and the nearby coast. We rent comfortable apartments from 1-5 rooms. Every apartment has a separate entrance and a separate terrace. There is also a barbecue site and garden furniture available. There is a special atmosphere at „Santa Agata“ and many of our guests return regularly. Some of our guests have made new friends over the years. Many courses have taken place here and holidays at „Santa Agata“ always have a special warm feeling. The beautiful beaches and the seaside resort of Marina di Castagneto Carducci are within easy reach (15 minutes by car 10 kilometers).

In the ranking of most livable tourist destinations, drawn up by Legambiente, Castagneto Carducci was the first in Tuscany and the third world, for no less than six times in ultuimi ten years Castagneto Carducci was Blue Flag, recognition given by the EEC with the seaside resorts the services more efficient and cleaner sea. The name derives from \"castaneam\" and is therefore bound to local resources. The most plausible explanation is that the chestnut was used not for its fruit, but as wood and coal furnace steel. Castagneto Carducci is a small village located on the hilltop on which dominates the Castle of the Gherardesca, once surrounded by walls. Around the castle, which in its long history has undergone many remakes, like the parish church whose building probably dates from the Mille, has developed a second village scheme of concentric rings that give life to a system of streets, alleys and squares . Center of the country is the way Vittorio Emanuele, which leads to the Piazza del Popolo, behind which there is a natural terrace whose name, Piazzale Belvedere, can imagine the beauty that can scrutinize turning our gaze to this splendid view.
