Llançà is a very well situated village, near the main towns of Figueres and Girona and at only two hours from Barcelona. In Figueres you can find the Dali Museum and an important shopping area. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays there are markets. Figueres is situated at only 15 minutes by train or car from Llançà. There are several small Mediterranean villages along the coast to visit: Collioure, El Port de la Selva, Cadaqués - Cap de Creus (Dalí´s house), the fishing villages of Roses and L'Escala, and the touristic resort of Empuriabrava.
