In northern Germany, on the edge of Holstein Switzerland, in the Segeberg Forest is the house glassworks. It is a wonderful vacation area for families and friends of the relaxation in the heart of nature. The immediate area is ideal for long walks, cycling or horseback riding through the beautiful forest Segeberger. In 15 km distance is Bad Segeberg, known for its Karl May Festival. In about the same distance is the experimental forest Trappenkamp in which not only native species may be observed, but also prepare adventure playgrounds, water worlds, barbecue areas and a high ropes course hours of fun. The wildlife park Eekholt with its natural outdoor enclosures located in the vicinity and also provides for a family outing. For swimming in the Great Segeberg Lake is in about 15 km and various outdoor pools in the area.
