The cottage is set on the very outskirts of St Andrews, in a small village called Balmullo. Only 10 minutes from Dundee and Cupar. Centrally located for golfing, walking and cylcing and horse riding holidays. Tucked away at the end of a chipped lane, there is no passing traffic, a very quiet and secluded location

St Andrews has the oldest University in Scotland and is the home of golf, playing host to the Open Golf Championship again this year. Steeped in history, this cathedral town has something of interest for everyone. Beautiful harbour, 2 beaches and a medieval castle. The town centre offers a unique shopping experience, with family run shops, farmers markets, museums, golf shops and the famous Byre Theatre for evening entertainment. Eating out in St Andrews is highly recommended with a varied choice of restaurants and hotels offering everything from burgers and chips to the most exqusite seafood or a traditional pub menu.
