This attractive apartment is on a traffic-free street close to Winterfeldtplatz in the Schöneberg district, well placed for both the eastern and western centres of Berlin. Nollendorf Platz U-Bahn station, less than 5 minutes’ walk away, is one stop from KaDeWe (Berlin’s answer to Harrod’s), two stops from Bahnhof Zoo (the main railway station) and three from Potsdamer Platz. The market held twice a week on the Winterfeldt Platz is generally accepted to be one of Berlin’s best, with interesting specialist craft, clothing and food stalls as well as a huge range of fresh fruit and vegetables. The apartment is in a 4-storey classic Berlin apartment building on the mezzanine floor of the Vorderhaus – the front section overlooking the street. For the busy summer period and for Christmas, New Year and Easter we give preference to those staying for at least a week. During May to October a short stay (less than 4 nights) can usually be booked only up to 4 weeks in advance. During November to April (except for the above holidays) this is possible up to 2 months in advance.

The apartment has a studio-style main room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower. The main room has a separate split-level bedroom area sleeping up to 4 people in comfort (2 single beds downstairs and 1 single and 1 double bed on the upper deck). The fold-down sofa can provide bed space for 1 or 2 more people (for larger family groups, for example). A cot and high chair are available on request. The kitchen is equipped with all the usual kitchen gear plus microwave, dish-washer and washing machine. There is also a telephone available, and a desk for those who have to work during their stay. Bed-linen and towels are provided.

You can find our Schöneberg apartment south of Tiergarten park between the eastern and the western city. In 10 minutes walking distance you'll find luxurious KaDeWe, Europe's largest department store, and some minutes later Zoo station and Kurfürstendamm boulevard. In a similarly short time you can walk to Kulturforum (Philharmonie, Nationalgalerie and the MoMA-exhibition). Next to Kulturforum there are the „Neue Mitte“ („New Centre“=Potsdamer Platz), Brandenburger Gate and Reichstag, the entrance doors to the eastern city centre. Also by public transport you will easily reach any central or less central targets, because , you need a few steps, only, to get to U-station Nollendorfplatz and the central connection between East and West. And if you are looking for one of the most popular „Kiez“ of Berlin: pubs, restaurants, shops, and much more, you are in the middle of it, already. Because literally around the next corner there is Winterfeldt square, with all its street life and with a wonderful, famous market, as well.
