We took our children on this trip, and they loved it! The living area was perfect for all of us to hang out after a day full of fun. The staff was friendly, which made the check-in smooth and quick. The location is excellent for nature adventures.

Legendary Winter Sports Venues

For winter sports enthusiasts, the Heini-Klopfer Ski Flying Hill is an absolute highlight. It is one of the largest ski flying hills in the world. Feel like the daring DSV Eagles and take the panoramic inclined elevator to the lofty heights of the mountain station. In summer, this experience is available from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM for a regular price of 14 €. In winter, the opening hours are shortened by one hour. (As of August 2023) The WM Ski Jumping Arena Oberstdorf Allgäu at Schattenberg has both a large and a normal hill. It is one of the venues for the Four Hills Tournament. Here, you can experience the fascination of ski jumping up close and visit the hill with its museum daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. (As of August 2023)

The Klausentreiben is one of the oldest cultural customs in the Allgäu. Wild hordes roam through the streets and around the houses on St. Nicholas' Day, rattling bells and chains to drive away evil spirits. In September, the cattle are brought back from the lush summer pastures to the stable, which is celebrated by the entire town with large tents and colorfully decorated streets.

Then the ICO Skywalk High Ropes Park at the ski jumps is just right for you – suitable for children aged twelve and up.
