Beautiful family vacation on the Polish Baltic Sea

We are a family with 2 children (0, 3 years) and stayed here for 7 days in October. Great location, very friendly staff, the beautiful sandy beach just 200 m away, plenty of space in the house, large terrace with dining table, which we used a lot. There isn't much to say except PERFECT!!! Beautifully well-maintained facility! We will come back!!!

Between the Baltic Coast and Fritzower Lake

The greatest attractions right outside your vacation apartment or holiday home in Dziwnów are the extensive sandy beaches along the Baltic Sea. Even in the peak season, there is enough space for everyone. Long beach walks are possible here. Numerous bars and cafes invite you to linger. Stroll through the town with its old villas to the harbor. There, you will find historic excursion boats, fishermen, and sailing ships. Not only the Baltic Sea but also Fritzower Lake is a popular bathing and sailing area. The sheltered inland waters are perfect for beginners on the water. A noteworthy drawbridge takes you across the Dziwna to the island of Wolin and to the neighboring seaside resort Międzyzdroje (Misdroy) with an almost 400-meter-long pier. Międzyzdroje is a pilgrimage site for Polish cinema. One of the country's most important film festivals takes place here every year. Poland's Walk of Fame with the bronze handprints of many film stars is located near the beach promenade. In Misdroy, there is also a designated dog beach, in case you want to spend your vacation with your dog on the Polish Baltic coast. Dogs are not allowed on the main beaches during the season. A visit to the Wolin National Park is also worthwhile on Wolin. Here, you can see numerous bird species that are otherwise hard to spot: besides the mighty sea eagle, there are sedge warblers, dunlins, and pied flycatchers. Cyclists can expect a well-developed network of bicycle paths around Dziwnów.

The quaint Polish seaside resort of Dziwnów (Dievenow) is located about 40 kilometers east of the island Usedom in Western Pomerania, nestled between the Baltic Sea and Fritzower Lake (Polish: Jezorio Wrzosowo) on a narrow strip of land approximately 400 meters wide and six kilometers long. You can easily and quickly reach your vacation apartment or private holiday home in Dziwnów by car. From Berlin, follow the A11 motorway to Szczecin. From there, continue on the A6 and via country roads to the seaside resort Dziwnówek. Take one last left turn and you will reach your accommodation in Dziwnów. The drive from Berlin takes less than three hours. From the north, follow the A20 to the Gützkow exit. Then continue towards Anklam, Usedom, and Swinoujscie. Follow the coastal road further through Międzyzdroje to Dziwnów.
