This lovely holiday apartment is part of the privately owned villa "Nangijala". The villa lies within its own grounds on the edge of the beach resort La Barrosa near Chiclana de la Frontera.

The apartment is situated on the ground floor and has its independent private entrance. There is one bedroom (with double bed and a large fitted wardrobe), a bathroom (with shower/bath, sink and WC), and an open kitchen with dining table and lounge area. The apartment is ideally suited to accommodate 2 people although the sofa-bed in the living room would provide additional space for a third person or two small children. "Nangijala's" large beautifully kept garden holds a number of mature trees, and a variety of attractive tropical plants. Here one can find ample space to wind down and relax and to enjoy the rural surroundings. At the same time as being an oasis of calm, the house is centrally positioned as it is within easy reach of the hustle and buzz of La Barrosa's beach promenade with its many restaurants, bars and shops as well as the famous sandy beaches (all ca. 1 km from the house).

Cities like Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla and Ronda are known worldwide and if you are interested in art and architecture, you shouldn't miss visiting these places during your visit to Andalucia. There are also, however, places that are much less well known (e.g. Cadiz, Chiclana or Jerez). These places lie on the costa de la Luz (meaning "The coast of light" ), the brightest part of Spain! Here the sun shines with unique beauty and its special staggering bright light makes it different from the other better known costas. Apart from a few stretches of rocks and cliffs, the Costa de la Luz is characterided by endless beaches of fine sand framed by dunes and pine woods. Although the Atlantic is somewhat rougher than the Mediterranean, there are no dangerous currents. The beaches are ideal for children to swim and play, and invite for long walks to watch the sunset. The conditions for water sports are also fantastic (e.g. surfing and windsurfing, especially during early autumn), and due to the tidal influences of the Atlantic you will not encounter the "horror beach scenario" during your holidays (i.e. umbrella deserts and people lying on a crowded beach like sardines in a tin!). Here on the Costa de la Luz you can still find real Spanish culture and an unspoiled countryside and spend a holiday to remember! Places of interest within the area include the port city of Cadiz with its historic old city centre and its famous Carneval celebrations. Jerez is world famous as the home of sherry and also as the heartland for flamenco. Puerto de Santa Maria, is a renowned place to enioy succulent seafood. Gibraltar, where you can enjoy tax-free shopping and admire the last free living primates (Barbary macaques ) in Europe . If you are seriously into windsurfing, you must visit Tarifa where you will also get some stunning views of Africa - there are several boats and ferries which cross the 14 kms to Morocco in about an hour! In the Strait of Gibraltar you can also go whalewatching (NB: Orcas are here during July and August!)Don't miss the opportunity to stop by one of the Spanish 'White Villages' (Vejer de la Frontera, Conil de la Frontera, Medina Sidonia).

Rental start and finish dates are flexible. For stays where weeks overlap two categories, pricing is calculated pro rata on a daily basis based on each category's price.
