The Delfini is operated by the owner's family. The small main building is surrounded by several one-storey and two-storey bungalows which are connected by natural stone paths and numerous stairs. The top floor apartments have separate entrances and separate stairs as well, so the facility gains the character of a settlement. Between the buildings there are palm and pine trees, orange trees, and a number of other trees species. In addition there is a mixed jumble of flowers and other ornamental plants of varied shape and color. The main building gives room to the reception desk in front of the lounge with TV set and the bar, and the attached breakfast room. On one of the many terraces and aside of one of the many stairs that cross the gardens on the slope in front of the facility, there is a hidden open-air kafenion which belongs to the house. Here one can have a cocktail in the evening and make sure of the sundowns over the bay of Kastelli Kissamos are among the most gorgeous on the island. Though the 20 apartments interlocked on the slope differ a lot from each other in architecture and geographic design, they however are 35 square meters of size each, and consist from a living-room with kitchenette, a bedroom, and a bathroom with bath-tub and shower. There are two balconies with garden furniture in front of the living-room and of the bedroom as well (except 2 apartments on the ground level which have verandas instead). In each bedroom there are either two single beds or a double bed. Living-rooms have either another bed plus a sofa, or two convertible sofas. Sea view and music system are included, and so is central heating during springtime and autumn. Warm water is heated by solar collectors. A short distance beyond the western town limits of Kastelli Kissamos, in direction of Falassarna, the Delfini Aparthotel lies on the slope of a hill, midway between the marina and the ferry boat port. As it originally consists from several building complexes, the sign by the drive still reads "Delfini Dimitris Chryssany". At the beach road in front of the facility there is no official bus stop, but the public bus from and to Falassarna will anyway stop at a sign. From the town center hourly connections to Hania by suburban busses. Hania airport is 55 kms away, Iraklion airport 187 kms.
