In the heart of the Italian countryside…. Overlooking the region’s natural reservation area, “Il Pioppo” is a place where guests can experience the true nature and beauty of Abruzzo’s countryside. From its hilltop position one can admire the blue Adriatic Sea, while breathing in the scent of the lush and colorful flowers that grow on the garden grounds. Look around you and allow your eyes to wander over the sculpted skyline created by the famous Gran Sasso and Maiella mountains: “Il Pioppo” offers nature at its best. Recently refurbished, the house is 4 km far from Atri, ancient town of artistic interest, 11 km from the beaches of Silvi Marina and Pineto and 28 km far from Pescara, modern and lively city; its location is also ideal for lovely strolls through the countryside. Cosy and comfortable both in and out of doors The villa is composed of 4 bedrooms, three of which are located on the main floor while the fourth is in a converted loft, a large living room area, three bathrooms, a kitchen and dining room, a small studio and a solarium. Two outer porches allow our guests to enjoy the meals or a relaxing time; the villa is also equipped with elegant external lighting for those guests who wish to remain on the garden grounds past nature’s natural light. There is also a gated-in parking area where guests can safely leave their vehicles.

The villa is situated nearby the tiny village "Villa Ferretti", on the top of a hill. The village is 4 km far from Atri and 28 km far from Pescara, the main centre of the region Abruzzo. Guests can reach the place from the exit "Atri-Pineto" on the motorway A14 and then following the indication to Atri. Past the town centre they follow the indication to "Tre Ciminiere" and after 3 km they get to "Villa Ferretti".

Atri is a relevant artistic town with monuments of particular beauty, such as the Cathedral, a medieval building which preserves the most important frescos of the abruzzese Renaissance. Moreover other ancient churches and the historical building of the Town Hall make Atri a very nice place to visit on a sightseeing. In addition to this, Atri's territory is characterised by a phenomenon of erosion of its ravines, caused by wind and water. This gives to the landscape an evocative and almost lunar aspect.
