Reve Deux – The holidayflat The entrance to the flat is fom the east via french doors to the kitchen. The apartment consits of bedroom, lounge, kitchen and shower room, making 52 sqm. The kitchen sized 20 sqm is provided with a dining area and a sofa and is equipped with oven, fridge and all the utensils you need to prepare one of those delicious french meals. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140x200cm) and a wardrobe. The big shower room with hand basin, toilett and a nice view to the vinyards is next to the bedroom. The lounge has a colour TV and a sofa, which can be used as an additional sleeping facility. The private terrace (15 sqm) faces southwest and is reached via the lounge. The outside dining spot provides you with beautiful views to the garden and the vineyards.

Rêve Deux is situated between the rivers Garonne and Dordogne - surrounded by the vineyards of BORDEAUX. The region is called Entre Deux Mers: "Between the Oceans" and is the homeland of the famous Bordeaux Redwine. It also produces a Bordeaux Blanc (whitewine) of the best quality. Rêve Deux is a large old farmhouse with lots of space in- and outdoors, totally restored to good standards and built out of the typical white sandstone of the area. All over in the famous Bastides the weekly farmers markets are a feast for the eyes. You can find artichokes and mushrooms, oysters, shellfish and all different kinds of seafood, poultry, pastry, ham, shallots, garlic, salads and vegetables. In the cafés surrounding the market place you may taste wine and café au lait, pastis, regional pastry and confectionery, watching all the interesting people doing their shopping and feel like you always imagine France to be a place to enjoy the best side of life. Round the corner of Reve Deux is the region's wine cooperative where one may buy the red and the white Bordeaux wine as well as the rosé or even a Cremant. The younger wines are even sold in cubitainers, which makes for a good price. You may always be able to buy a good selection of bottled wines. Gourmet-Restaurants as well as round-the-corner restaurants offer all the typical french specialities either in a splendid atmosphere or at lunch time in a crowded village restaurant as a genuine french experience for a reasonable price. Cycling, walking tours, sailing on the Dordogne, swimming in one of the near by lakes, reading and relaxing make your holidays a complete experience. For those who are interested in history there are old, fortified churches, abbeys, medieval villages, castles, fortresses and grottos to be found on purpose or by chance. The next shopping village is Castillon-la-Batialle, only ten minutes away, just on the banks of the Dordogne. Bordeaux, the main city of old Aquitaine, is only a 45 minutes trip away. Bordeaux offers all kinds of shopping facilities, restaurants and cafés, a huge amount of churches, museums and historical buildings as well as the arabic parts of the city with people of all different nations including their typical shops and restaurants with international food. The famous Bay of Archachon, where the oysters are cultivated, with Europe's largest dune, the Dune de Pilat, all the endless sandy beaches and the huge lakes nearby are well worth a daytrip to this area. Going northwards you come to the Perigord, where the endlessly beautiful woods are the home of the delicious black truffles.
