The yard entry to the Haflingerzuchthof Heidjers Peerstall lies in the local center. Over the rear yard plant one can directly into the field Marks out-rides or to move, without having to use again the road. Toppenstedt lies in an easily hilly landscape with small Wäldchen, meadows and Auen. Our large vacation home is in the upper floor of our again reconditioned restaurant building.

Our village is appropriate for approx. 22 km south of Hamburg at the motorway A 7 at the northern edge of the “Lüneburger heath” and in the landscape protection area “Garlstorfer forest”. In the historical books Toppenstedt becomes first in 13. Century mentions. Today 2068 inhabitants live in Toppenstedt. The Gemarkung covers 1973 hectars. The village is coined/shaped with its 10 yards by active agriculture. There is it a food market, a baker's shop, a restaurant, a hotel, a gas station, a country doctor practice and holidays and moving rider accomodation of Heidjers Peerstall Heidjers Peerstall, specified in the village chronicle Toppenstedts as yard Nr.6 “Stöckmanns”, is one of the oldest farms of the place. Where in former times operated agriculture, cattle and pigs were bred, stand today the blondmähnigen Haflinger in the stables and on the pastures. In the years 1996 to 2002 all buildings were thoroughly modernized and reconditioned. A modern horse breeding enterprise developed and the yard became the Schmuckstück of the place. Owing to good infrastructure, the Buslinie 5 drives from the village center directly to the station Winsen and for the tariff Hamburg traffic group is we from there in approx. 15 minutes in the center of the metropolis Hamburg.
