Thank you very much for the great time with you.

My ten-year-old son and I spent a wonderful week in the Pentecost holidays at the bungalow settlement. Our goal was a fishing holiday – and we could hardly have wished for anything better.

The accommodation is simple, cozy, and perfectly located for anyone who enjoys spending time on the water. Especially the boat, which we could take directly for fishing, was a real highlight for us.

A special thanks goes to the landlords Sylvia and Christian. Both are incredibly warm, helpful, and dedicated. They were always available for questions, immediately assisted with small problems, and gave us many great tips for excursions in the area.

We felt welcome from the first day and greatly enjoyed the time spent together in the beautiful nature of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Thank you, Sylvia and Christian, for the wonderful week – we would love to come back!

Wonderful fishing accommodation for adults up to 4 people

I was on a fishing vacation with my 18-year-old son for 1 week and booked this accommodation. Aside from a missing wardrobe, which is not possible due to the Finnish cabin style, we were very satisfied. The communication with the landlord works perfectly, even though he is not personally on site. A welcome book clarifies all matters such as handling electrical appliances, the boat shed, etc., so that one can manage perfectly well on their own. The peace is simply heavenly and the neighbors are nice and helpful. However, I find that this accommodation should not be used with smaller children, as it is really very quiet and calm in the neighborhood, and the stairs to the sleeping areas should only be used by older children (perhaps from 14?). The deposit was refunded quickly and easily after the vacation, which I found very nice. The lake is 100m away, which is a stone's throw. There is also a heavenly calm here and little boat traffic. For the anglers: We caught nice pikes and smaller perch right from the jetty. Those who like roach, etc., will also find them from the jetty. However, one should be careful, as there is a lot of wood and debris underwater. My son pulled out a 175l garbage bag with his drop shot. The pikes bit most effectively on spoons. In short: The area is wonderful, the lake beautifully calm, a bathing beach with a pizzeria very close by, and the accommodation is truly 100% recommended. I sincerely thank the landlords for the great week and the spotless Finnish cabin. Thank you very much.
