A house with a large fenced garden just 300m from a bathing beach. The house has everything you need. All things for daily life are available. The landlords are very nice and provide help and advice. Will we come back?

Holiday home relaxing holiday Kakovatos
Kakovatos
We, 68 and 74 years old, spent a wonderful vacation in Nikos' house No. 4. Simply furnished, but it has everything you need. Additionally, a beautiful garden with oranges and lemons, and the path to the beach is also manageable for older people. The sea was a dream, clear, clean water and little activity (mid to late June). Nikos and his wife were very friendly, wine and olive oil were provided as a welcome, and with a few words of Greek and hands and feet, we communicated wonderfully. Kokavatos has a few very nice taverns. For larger shopping, it's better to go to Zacharo, but you can also get the essentials in the village. All in all, 2 very relaxing weeks in a beautiful country with hospitable people.

Large holiday home with a wonderful terrace and sea view. Comfortable for 4. Space, 2 sleeping places in the central living kitchen on a pull-out couch, would be too "tight" for us for 6 people. Kitchen well-equipped by Greek standards, could be cleaner, hence only good. Seashore too steep for small children, otherwise great pebble beach with sandy tongues and super beautiful stones to collect (extremely beautiful flat sandy beaches for the little ones are about 7 km away). One definitely needs a car, next good shopping opportunity Kastro (small but nice) about 4 km away. All in all, a nice, quiet place to relax.
