Description

Our beautiful holiday home "La Mer", furnished in Mediterranean style, has a state-of-the-art reversible air conditioning system (cool in summer and warm in winter with only 1/3 energy consumption), 2 bathrooms, and is located in an absolutely quiet area just a few minutes' walk from the magnificent 5 km long sandy beach, in a well-maintained gated residence at the foot of the nature reserve "Massif de la Clape" in Narbonne-Plage. It is also only a few minutes’ walk to the sports center, swimming pool (open all year), fitness, and tennis. Directly behind the house, a park with fitness equipment runs along the Clape cliffs (great for dog walks).
In the house, you have all the amenities of modern life. The house is fully insulated and set up for long-term stays. On the fenced terrace (important for dog owners – dogs are very welcome!), ) you will find a garden table, 6 chairs, deck chairs, loungers, 1 charcoal and 1 electric grill, 1 sun umbrella + sun awning.
On the ground floor you have a living room with upholstered suite/SAT-TV with flat screen/ceiling fan as well as air conditioning and a dining room with large kitchenette as well as the 1st shower bath with WC. The kitchen is perfectly equipped with 4-burner ceramic hob, extractor hood, large oven, sink, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and complete crockery and cookware. Refrigerator (240 l), separate freezer (46 l), washing machine, dryer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, iron + ironing board. The dishes are more than plentiful, so you don’t have to wash up constantly.
A comfortable staircase leads to the upper floor. There you will find the two bedrooms and the second shower room with WC. The beds in the master bedroom have German dimensions (2 x 90 x 200 cm). There too, the modern air conditioning ensures a pleasant stay. In the master bedroom there is also a flat screen for all German channels. So the parents are no longer dependent on the television wishes of the youth! Both rooms offer enough storage space in closets and drawers, even for thick winter clothes. You can also rent bed linen and towels from us if you want to save space on the journey. In that case, your beds will already be made upon your arrival and the holiday can begin! The house is ideal for wintering. The new windows and terrace door also contribute to this! The air conditioning also provides cozy warmth, consuming only 1/3 of the energy compared to conventional radiators. Long-term vacationers pay for only 3 weeks for a 4-week stay (October to May) or receive additional discounts for stays of 2 months or more (October to March) and enjoy the exceptionally mild winter on the Mediterranean! Of course, you have internet access in the house via WiFi/WLAN with your own PC!

Location and surroundings of object

Our holiday home "La Mer" is located a few minutes' walk from the hustle and bustle of the bathers, in beautiful nature with a view of the bizarre rocks of the Clape Massif, covered with large hanging plants and under nature protection. You will be just as delighted.
Our guests always feel very comfortable and therefore often return. If interested, you should book very early!
It is about 400 m to the center with restaurants, cafés, shops, etc. So you can reach everything easily in a few minutes on foot. You can safely leave your car in its private parking space within the enclosed complex.
Narbonne Plage is a holiday resort founded in the 1960s, which belongs to the municipality of Narbonne. It is an insider tip and has not yet been overrun by mass tourism. Due to its prime location between the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby Clape Massif, a special microclimate has developed, which treats us to around 320 sunny days per year. There is no industry far and wide, so the air is breathed in pure and clean.
The 5 km wide and cleaned daily sandy beach is also ideal for children. Dogs are not allowed on the supervised section from June to September, but there is a separate "dog beach" outside where your four-legged friend can swim and romp to their heart's content!
Narbonne-Plage offers relaxation and fun for the whole family.
The mild Mediterranean climate invites you to spend the winter here. Ski fans can reach wonderful ski resorts in the Pyrenees within 1.5 hours in winter. Contact us. We live locally and are happy to assist our guests with information or translations.

You will be delighted by the mild, sunny climate in Narbonne Plage even outside the season. According to statistics, we are spoiled with 300-320 sunny days per year. For stays of 4 weeks or longer from the beginning of October to the end of May, special prices apply. For long-term vacationers staying 2 months or more in winter (October to March), additionally reduced prices apply. We are happy to inform you. Visiting friends

For the 8th time, we have vacationed in this beautiful holiday home, and that speaks for itself. We feel very comfortable there. The house has everything one expects and more than one needs. There is a wonderful terrace where we had breakfast every morning and ended the day every evening, the weather allowed it. Mrs. Deleporte lives diagonally across and is always there when one has questions or concerns. The sea is within walking distance, as is a supermarket and the town with restaurants and shops. A car is not needed. You can take the bus to Narbonne.
However, we enjoyed the "conversations over the garden wall" with Mrs. Deleporte the most when she passed by with her dog. It was once again a dream vacation and we are very much looking forward to our reunion in 2026.

Also this year we spent 3 weeks in this beautiful holiday home; for the 7th time. It is always a great joy to be there, we feel at home. The house is very well equipped; nothing is missing. We especially enjoy the two bathrooms, that is pure luxury. The location is very convenient, everything is within walking distance. There are plenty of sights around Narbonne Plage and Narbonne, a great city, is easily accessible by bus for Euro 1.20. For us, the personal connection is also very important. It is always very nice to chat with Mrs. Deleporte "over the garden fence (here wall)" when she walks her dog. She has become a dear friend to us over the years. And Jean-Pierre, who left us last year, is always present. That's just how it is with friends. The vacation for 2025 is already booked. Dear Yvonne, we are looking forward to seeing you and the time together. Goodbye.

Beautiful vacation

We had very relaxing days in a well-equipped cottage, the location in Narbonne Plage is quiet and centrally located. Many things can be reached on foot. We had our bikes with us, which worked out very well as well. In the evenings, it was nice to sit on the cozy terrace. The contact with the landlady was uncomplicated and very friendly, she lives diagonally across in case you need help.

Oasis of well-being

For the 6th time, we had a vacation in this beautiful holiday home and it felt like coming home. But it was different this time, Jean-Pierre was missing. We missed him. The house: very well equipped, 2 bathrooms = luxury, great kitchen facilities - new stove and everything else was perfect. The location is ideal, everything can be reached: beach, restaurants, nature, shops. Not far away is a well-stocked SPAR supermarket with exceptionally good bread. Narbonne-Plage is very conveniently located for excursions: there is a market every day in St. Pierre. In Narbonne, the bus stop is just around the corner and you can ride for 1 euro. Gruissan is a beautiful old town. But the main attraction is the kilometer-long sandy beach. There is a "non-smoking beach" and a "dog beach". Everyone can find their own spot here. Narbonne-Plage and the holiday home "La Mer" are always worth a trip. We are looking forward to seeing you again next year. Alex and Gisa.

Pure relaxation.

The accommodation is super equipped, nothing is missing. My dog and I were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. The location is perfect. I didn't use the car the whole time because everything is within walking distance. We will definitely come back.

Very nice hostess

Beautiful small holiday home, very quiet in winter (summer I cannot judge), also highly recommended with a dog. Great nature, many hiking trails, and opportunities for activities. The landlords also take care immediately if something doesn't work. Recommended!

I have no regrets ;-)

We felt very comfortable. The holiday home is very cozy and you really don't lack anything. Mrs. Deleporte (who speaks both German and French at a native level) took care of us very kindly beforehand, afterwards, and also during our one-week vacation and is always ready to help. Our three dogs were also very welcome. Furthermore, the holiday home is quickly reached from the beautiful beach of Narbonne Plage. Thank you very much for the wonderful vacation - goodbye.

Carefree vacation with lovable hosts

We had wonderful weeks in this holiday home, not least because it is equipped with all the helpers like washing machine, dryer, dishwasher. relaxing holiday in beautiful summer weather

We have stayed in this beautiful holiday home in La Mer several times now and have always enjoyed it. We have chosen this beautiful holiday home again because we knew that our expectations would be fully met here.
This time we were surprised to find that the living area and the bedroom now had air conditioning. This was very pleasant at over 30 degrees.
Once again we spent wonderful weeks in this beautiful house with its great terrace with outdoor barbecue.
The extensive interior furnishings also never cease to amaze.
The sea beach, only a few minutes' walk away, invites you to refresh yourself and go swimming.
The main shops and numerous restaurants are also nearby, so there was no need to move the car.
The Deleporte family, a very friendly and sympathetic couple, are always available to answer any questions and provide assistance.
It was once again a very nice stay and certainly not the last.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

The holiday home is quietly located in a holiday complex and has a great location. Both the town center and the beach are easily accessible on foot. A supermarket is nearby. The rocks of the Clape Massif directly border the complex, and there is a beautiful walking path passing by.
The house is very well equipped. We didn't lack anything. We found it a bit small for 5 people, but during vacation, one usually spends most of the time outside. The landlady, Mrs. Deleporte, was very friendly and eager to ensure that we had a good holiday. We could approach her at any time.
For our next vacation in Narbonne-Plage, we will definitely keep this holiday home in mind.

Wunderschön

We have now been to this beautiful cozy holiday home for the 3rd time. Everything is there, and we felt very comfortable with our dogs. The very helpful and kind landlords have become good friends by now. The next and 4th vacation for 2020 in this holiday home is already booked. That says it all, doesn't it?

Summer vacation 2018

Everything that has already been written in positive reviews, we can only confirm. We spent three very nice weeks in the small cottage with three people. Excursions, partying on the promenade, lounging on the beach, and peace at night despite high season. We will gladly come back.

Relaxing days in Narbonne-Plage

We stayed in this holiday home for four weeks as a couple for the second time and can only confirm that this holiday home is ideally equipped and impresses with its quiet location near the sea.
Spending the evening on the quiet terrace after a nice walk on the beach is something you take home with you.
Thanks to the new wifi system, internet reception is also ideal.
The Deleporte couple, very friendly, react immediately to rare problems and take care of them
for remedy
The only shortcoming we noticed is that the beautiful time in Narbonne Plage goes by too quickly.

Beautiful holiday

We spent our holiday for the 3rd time in the beautiful
in the beautiful house of family Deleporte as always it was clean it has lacked nothing.
Mrs. Deleporte always asks if everything is ok and if she can help.La mer is situated in a quiet area but only a few minutes from the centre where you can find everything you need for shopping.5 minutes from the beach where you can swim or go for long walks
This time we went by train to Narbonne then by bus to Narbonne plage as you don't need a car there we did everything on foot,bike,bus.
From Narbonne there are trains every hour to Sete,Agde,Carcassonne it is not boring even if you come in autumn or winter.We will come again next year without a car

Ja, es war sicher ein Abenteuer, dieses Mal mit dem Zug anzureisen, aber hier kostet der Bus nur € 1,--/Pers. und die beiden Räder haben wir Ihnen gestellt, also war alles perfekt! Im schönen Oktober gab es auch viele Badetage! Warten wir's ab, wie es im Oktober 2018 wird? Wir freuen uns auf Sie! Jedenfalls werden unsere Mieter in den Wintermonaten immer mit viel Sonne und milden Temperaturen belohnt. Schönes Wetter ist in Narbonne-Plage Programm!

Ein schöner Urlaub

We spent our holiday for the 3rd time in the beautiful house of the Deleporte family. As always, it was clean and nothing was missing. Mrs. Deleporte always asks if everything is okay and if she can help. La Mer is quietly located and only a few minutes from the center where you can find everything for shopping. The beach is 5 minutes away where you can swim or take long walks. This time we traveled by train to Narbonne and then took a bus to Narbonne plage because you don't need a car on site, we did everything on foot, by bike, and by bus. Trains depart every hour from Narbonne to Sete, Agde, Carcassonne, so it's never boring even if you come in autumn or winter. We will come back next year without any car stress!

Summer vacation 2016

Very nice and absolutely quiet holiday home with a beautiful terrace. Still only a 10-minute walk to the fantastic, sandy beach. 5 minutes to a small snack bar with fresh pastries. Right next to it is a small Interspar with very long opening hours (8:00 to 22:00 continuously, also on Sundays). You can really turn to the landlords in all matters. They are very helpful and friendly. We have spent two wonderful, relaxing weeks and can really recommend this accommodation.

Schönes, ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus

This holiday home is located in a quiet environment away from the traffic with a magnificent view of the La Clape mountain range. The advantage of the beautiful terrace is that it is initially shaded in the morning, allowing for breakfast outdoors at comfortable temperatures. The house is very well equipped with all conveniences from washing machine to sandwich toaster, etc. tastefully decorated. The bedroom is good, the beds spacious and comfortable. The children's room is quite small due to the sloping ceiling. The stairs to the upper floor are very steep, so not recommended for very young children.
We felt very comfortable. The landlords are super nice, helpful, and open to all questions and wishes.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Herrliche Landschaft, ruhige, sehr saubere und ansprechende Feriensiedlung, nur wenige Minuten zum Einkaufen und zur Strandpromenade mit vielen Restaurants und guter Unterhaltung, 3 x in der Woche ist Markt an der Strandpromenade, groß und sehr schön. Jeden Abend ebenfalls viele Verkaufsstände. Sehr abwechslungsreich. Mit dem Auto kann man viele sehenswerte Orte in kurzer Zeit erreichen, sehr abwechslungsreich.

free time activities: Strand, Wandern, Radfahren, Wassersport, Musik und Karaoke am Abend, viele Bands und andere Vorstellungen jeden Abend. Und sicherlich noch vieles mehr,...

shopping facilities: Am Ort gibt es 2 Spar-Läden, dort ist es jedoch sehr teuer, besser kauft man im LIDL im Nachbarort ein. Und natürlich auf dem Markt am Ort.

Inzwischen wurde die steile Treppe in eine sehr bequeme ausgewechselt. Es hat lange gedauert, endlich den richtigen Schreiner zu finden. Auch des Dachliegefenster im oberen Bad wurde durch ein VELUX-Fenster mit Sensor ausgetauscht. Es schließt sich automatisch, wenn es einige Regentropfen gibt!
