Great holiday apartment

We spent a lovely vacation week in the holiday apartment Grachtentraum 1. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and equipped with everything necessary, very clean and cozy. We slept well in the high-quality beds, and the super-functioning underfloor heating contributed to the coziness during icy outside temperatures. Always quick and uncomplicated contact with the nice landlords, who provided us with extensive information in advance. If our path leads us back to the North Sea, then gladly again to Grachtentraum 1, which lives up to its name.

Anytime again!
The apartment was super clean and very well equipped.
It is wonderfully quiet, yet you can walk to the town center in a few minutes.
We also thought the walk-in closet was great.

The building is crowned by a weathervane in the shape of a three-masted ship with square sails, created around 1730, which clearly indicates the maritime connection of the place. Historically interesting is the Manningaburg in the neighboring village of Pewsum, a small water castle from the 15th century, which you can visit for just 2 € per person (as of August 2023). Inside, the building houses a small museum about the chieftain era, as well as models and remnants of the ornaments of the former castle complex in a beautiful garden.
