Super great vacation

We were again for a few days in our favorite holiday home with the Richter family on Norderney. It was a wonderful time. The apartment is very spacious, with room for 4 people. Everything is super clean, and the landlady, Mrs. Richter, takes care of her apartments and her guests with a lot of love. Her motto, which we particularly like, is: WE CAN DO THIS! To mention, there is also a small grocery store, The Smuggler, a particularly nice restaurant with an excellent menu, a hairdresser, and a baker nearby. Everything can be reached in 5 minutes. Dear Mrs. Richter, thank you very much for the lovely time, and we will see each other in the summer.

FeWo Strandkorb - the name says it all

A super-beautiful, excellently equipped apartment in the 1st row. Short distances in all directions, especially to the house's own beach chair. Very friendly, reliable contact with Mrs Braun and the flat literally invites you to another holiday.
We would love to come back anytime.
Even though the swimming pool was not available because of Corona, this did not detract from the flat. Modern and cosy at the same time, perfect for 2 people!

You can easily reach Norderney by ferry from Norddeich-Mole. This paradisiacal North Sea island is particularly known for its beaches and dunes. So, it's best to book a vacation apartment right by the sea! From there, you can also easily reach one of the most beautiful viewpoints at Cape Norderney. You can also enjoy a breathtaking view over the entire island and the Wadden Sea from the 54-meter-high Great Norderney Lighthouse. It can be visited for €3.50 and is open daily from 2 to 4 PM between April and October. (As of August 2023) Another must-see is the Observatory, which opens its doors to visitors every Tuesday from 7:30 to 10 PM (As of August 2023). There, you can observe the stars or walk along the Planet Path, where you will playfully gain new knowledge about our solar system.

Take a ride around the entire island with Bömmel's Bimmelbahn. The train stops at prominent points and quickly takes you to the most beautiful attractions. The starting point is the Rose Garden, and the destination is the historic Norderney Mill, which is used as a welcoming inn. A lasting highlight on the North Sea island is the Wadden Sea. Since 2009, it has been a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. This habitat is home to about 4000 different animal and plant species. Don't miss a guided tour!

Event Highlights on Norderney

Between the end of May and the beginning of June, the annual International Film Festival Emden-Norderney takes place. There, international representatives from film and television meet to celebrate the year's highlights and award special prizes.
