The hosts are very friendly, we felt very comfortable. The house is very well-kept, clean, very well equipped, and lovingly furnished. Our children were often in the stable as usual and enjoyed helping with feeding the calves. The wooden horse and the table tennis table were also used frequently. The sauna is a highlight. The detached location of the holiday home is a dream, and the proximity to Passau and Schärding invites excursions. We would love to come back.

For nostalgics like us, it’s a perfect hit.
The house breathes history and is, due to its furnishings, anything but dusty.
You don’t find something like this often, but it may not be to everyone’s taste. But who wants to be ordinary?
Everything a self-caterer needs is available, and in a good and modern variant. The idyll is, as it should be with a watermill, perfectly complemented by the rushing but not disturbing stream. Okay, that's what nature does, but the child in the man awakens and our Lagotto wouldn't let himself be begged to occupy the area. The paths to the lake are short and the location provides pure relaxation. With great attention to detail, the house offers the short-term user a small time travel experience; the eye constantly discovers interesting details, from the tiles and the historical nude paintings in the bathroom to the furniture and decor under the roof, one could expect contemporaries of Luis Trenker to drop by at any moment. A small improvement suggestion would be shading during strong sunlight in a separate area in the back part of the cozy little garden. We would unreservedly recommend Haus und Grundlsee.
Anyone who wants to swim should definitely not forget their swimming shoes, as without them, swimming fun cannot be fulfilled.
