Additional Information
our environment policy"Thai House-Isaan guesthouse" is environmentally friendly. We use only organically grown herbs, vegetables and rice. Most herbs are from our garden and help create a beautiful landscape. Lemongrass, basel, chillies all look wonderfull. We try to buy all produce locally and use villagers to build and maintain the guesthouse. In this way we help the local economy. Rain water is run off the roofs and collected in large water pots, then treated through filters and used as drinking water. We encourage the use of bidets in all toilets, this helps reduce waste and the use of paper. We also recycle our rubbish, the staff seperate waste for re cycleling. The money from the re-cycle companies is given to the staff to encourage there participation. We are careful to leave no negative footprint on our local environment and village life, in fact we encourage the retainment of their unique culture by culture shows (dancing and singing) and the sale of local handicrafts.
