We are set back from Route 100 amidst 3 acres of pine, maple and birch trees, with our own spring fed trout pond. There is a brook that bubbles its way through the property amongst the trees. There are wood burning fireplaces in the dining room and public lounge, wonderful on snowy mornings at breakfast time and cozy on those frosty nights with a complimentary glass of wine and evening hors’deuvres.We also have wood burning fireplaces (prepared fresh each morning) in more than half the bedrooms along with their private 2 person jacuzzi tubs, to soak away those aching muscle’s. This combination makes the inn ideal for that "romantic getaway" or just a break from the ‘stress’ of city life. For that ‘Very Special’ occasion, our King Duplex suite is just for you. Located on our top 2 floors, for privacy and seclusion, the suite offers a lounge area with a private staircase leading up to the master bedroom. This room has a vast antique king bed, wood burning fireplace, TV/VCR and CD player along with 2 covered porches, one overlooking Mount Snow. There is a separate relaxing area with double doors leading to the bathroom, with mountain views from the 2 person whirlpool/ massage jacuzzi tub and all the privacy you need. Several of the rooms open onto covered decks, ideal for that shady spot in the heat of the summer. There is also a large deck outside the dining room where wine and hors’deuvres are served on balmy summer evenings, under the shade of the umbrella. We offer one room for those who feel that ‘pooch’ must come too. Also we have a suite with full wheelchair accessibility and bathroom facilities, available to guests with extra needs. We serve a full country breakfast, comprising fresh fruit cup and a glass of fruit juice, accompanied by warm fresh ‘home’ baked muffins. This can be followed by a full cooked entrée, with daily specials, to include assorted fruit pancakes, ‘french’ toast and many types of omelets to suit most palettes. Coffee and a variety of teas are always available throughout breakfast service.

Our inn is situated in West Dover, Southern Vermont a little over a mile south of Mount Snow, probably the closest major ski-area to the larger cities in New England. The journey time from New York City (4 hours) and Boston Metro (under 3 hours) makes the Inn a reachable destination either just overnight, or for short breaks.
