This 1916 Victorian home is completely renovated, beautifully decorated with period antiques, and located in the heart of a busy downtown area. Step back into time as you step into the foyer of one of Philadelphia’s most elegant older homes. The golden glow of the sunroom beckons you to bring your coffee or tea and come sit and watch the world go by.
Entering the formal parlor your attention is immediately drawn to the wonderfully carved mantle and fireplace surround. Imagine a more genteel time 100 years ago as you relax by the fire on the detailed Victorian furniture.
The formal dining room says “dinner is served.” And served it is, surrounded by antique buffets and an elegant eight foot long mirror reflecting the light of an original chandelier hung by the Cole family.
As night falls and the eyes grow heavy with sleep, climb into any one of the pillow topped beds upstairs. Whether it is the 8’ tall tester bed, the 200 year old master, or one of the twin beds, a wonderful night’s sleep is assured.
Morning brings the aromas of homemade biscuits, rolls, or muffins, bacon frying and freshly brewed coffee. Enjoy your full Southern breakfast with homemade jams and jellies. You will leave the table happy.
Our goal and desire at The Cole House is to “make you feel at home” in our home. The décor of the home, the amenities offered, and your cordial hosts are all dedicated to insuring your stay to be pleasant and memorable. We want the nicest thought you have about leaving is to be when you can schedule your next visit.

Additional Information
Nestled among the towering pines and stunning oaks in the rolling hills region of east central Mississippi is two of the southeast’s most acclaimed golf courses, Dancing Rabbit Golf Club at Pearl River Resort. Claiming a home in this lush environment are the award-winning, par-72 courses, the Azaleas and the Oaks. Each golf course covers 7,000 yards when playing from the championship tees, and offers five different sets of tees to accommodate every level of play. Combined these two courses encompass more than 700 acres wrapped in over five miles of meandering spring-fed streams and the exquisite setting accentuates the beauty of the course while adding to the difficulty of play. Every hole at Dancing Rabbit is a work of art, featuring A4 Bentgrass greens, along with Zoysia fairways on the Oaks and Bermuda fairways on the Azaleas. Both courses were created by acclaimed golf course designer Tom Fazio and PGA great Jerry Pate. To experience everything Dancing Rabbit Golf Club and Pearl River Resort has to offer check out one of the great golf packages offered at one of Mississippi’s top courses.
