Description
This spacious, sunny holiday home is located on the first floor of a detached 2-family house between Ostend and De Haan. The large garden is fenced and not visible. The ground floor flat is rarely occupied by the owners as a holiday home, so the house is almost always occupied by the holiday guest alone. There is a private parking space in front of the house. You can store your own bicycles in the garden house. For the little ones there is a travel cot with extra thick mattress, high chair and many games

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is 800m from the beach. The coastline of Bredene is unique. Since there is no promenade, the 4km long sandy beach naturally merges seamlessly into the dunes. The Flemish coastline combines 67km of beach pleasure with a mild maritime climate, clean water and iodine-rich air. The De Lijn coastal tram is the ideal means of transport for exploring the 67 km coastline. It connects 13 seaside resorts from the French border De Panne to the Dutch border Knokke. The journey can be interrupted at will with the day ticket. The Polderland makes for great cycling trips. Bredene is also a great starting point for numerous explorations. The lovely city of Bruges is only 15 km away. Ghent is a highlight for art lovers. Ostend is still - even on Sunday - the absolute shopping mile. There are many attractions for children along the coast: Sea-Life in Blankenberge, Sea-Front and submarine tour in Zeebrugge, Earth-Explorer and Fort Napoleon in Ostend. A beautiful nature reserve is Het Zwin in Knokke-Het Zoute. A detailed information folder is in the flat.

Perfektes Familien-Apartment
Wir waren zwei Wochen im August 2020 im Landhaus Carpe Diem und der Urlaub entsprach - trotz Corona - voll unseren Erwartungen.
Apartment:
Wir fühlten uns von Anfang an, gut von Familie Stühlen betreut. Das Apartment war dann trotzdem noch mal eine freudige Überraschung, da es gut ausgestattet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet ist. Besonders gut hat uns das Kinderzimmer mit zwei separaten Betten gefallen, das mit viel Spielzeug und Deko wirklich kinngerecht eingerichtet ist. Sogar der Weg zur Treppe kann durch eine Tür mit Kindersicherung abgesichert werden.
Bredene und Umgebung:
Super Strand und tolle Lage. Vom Haus ist man zu Fuß in circa 10min am Strand. Am Strand gibt es viel Platz und eine nette Strandbude. Wer etwas Abwechslung will, kann mit Auto, Fahrrad (steht zur Verfügung, sogar mit Kindersitz) oder der Küstenbahn nach Oostende oder de Haan fahren. Unterschiedliche Orte, die beide ihren eigenen Charme haben.
Corona:
Die Einschränkungen durch die lokalen Corona-Maßnahmen haben wir kaum gespürt, da sie ähnlich wie in Deutschland sind. Am Strand und im Apartment machte es eh keinen Unterschied.

Sehr empfehlenswert, haben uns gut erholt!
Eine sehr gepflegte und dem heutigen Zeitgeist ausgestattete und gemütliche Ferienwohnung. Wir (2 Erw. 2 Jugendliche) haben uns nach täglichen Ausflügen nach z.B. Brügge , Brüssel, De Haan oder einfach nur an den tollen Feinsandstrand immer wieder auf unsere gemütliche Unterkunft bei Familie Stühlen gefreut. Perfekt auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern, da Babybett mit kl. Matratze und jede Menge Kinderspielzeug und Spiele vorhanden sind. Auch für den Garten fehlte es an nichts.
