Our villa is located on the edge of the small village Trincheri (su dynamic Google Map). The large natural garden full of quiet places to enjoy, including under the mulberry tree next to the barbecue area with the large table.
Redesigned iron windows, doors and stairs combine harmoniously with the traditional ambience. Impressive views from panoramic windows of the kitchen and the roof terrace. The living quarters are on the 1st floor and amount incl. Roof terrace about 81 sqm.

Location and surroundings of object
The dreamlike nature starts right outside the house - ideal for walkers and cycling. The small village Trincheri located 4 km above Dolcedo. This is the main town in the scenic and architectural gem - the Prino, a center of olive cultivation. Here you will find everything for daily use and typical restaurants.
A bus drives 2x to Imperia. From there it is 20 km to San Remo, 50 km to Monaco, 80 km from Nice, 30 km from Alassio, 100 km to Genoa.
The region is also ideal for mountain bikers, experienced cyclists and motorcyclists
BEACH LIFE:
- SAN LORENZO (10 km) is a seaside resort with Italian charm (2013 and 2014 award Blue Flag for excellent water quality). There you will find public and farmed sandy and rocky beaches. Everywhere there are delicious fish, Wine and cafes.
- From here a new cycle along the sea along the old railway line to San Remo

Dreamlike view and pure nature
We had a wonderful two weeks at Casa Limone with our two children (3 and 6). We have been on vacation in Liguria for many years, so we can say that we have found a special gem here.
The holiday home impresses above all with its special charm, top facilities, the garden characterized by olive trees and cozy spots, and a roof terrace with a magnificent view. You are perched high up in the mountains and can see the sea glimmering in the distance, which, unlike what we are used to, is NOT obscured by the highway bridge.
Excursions can be started directly from the holiday home, up to the chapel of Santa Brigida or down to Dolcedo - beautiful routes that are also manageable for children.
A special highlight for us this year was the visit to the "Grotte di Toirano", a huge dripstone cave with a bear cemetery, underground lake, and footprints of early humans. Our son was thrilled ?
As always, we had fantastic meals in Prela (Ristorante Val Prino). Here you can enjoy Ligurian cuisine (a fixed 9-course menu) at a fair price (35 euros including drinks). They are also open in the evenings, but for us, eating outside on the terrace on Sunday afternoon was particularly beautiful. Be sure to make a reservation!
If there were any questions or problems, the landlords were not only always reachable at short notice, despite being on vacation themselves, but also solution-oriented and very friendly. Not a matter of course!
For those who come to Liguria for the first time, it should be known that the roads are often quite long and arduous - the road is usually very narrow, so the reverse gear sometimes has to be engaged so that two cars can pass each other - but it is rewarded with a view and pure nature! Meanwhile, Liguria has become the ultimate vacation for us - mountains, sea, perfect temperatures, Italian Dolce Vita, and the special atmosphere of such fantastic holiday homes. Thank you for two relaxing and wonderful weeks!

Great week in Liguria in beautifully located country house
Fantastic location in the middle of olive groves, beautifully furnished, the roof terrace alone is a dream, beautiful hiking opportunities right on the doorstep, a setting that has something to offer for everyone. Whether you want to go hiking or cycling in the wild nature around Dolcedo, whether you want to experience the medieval flair in the surrounding villages, enjoy great food or just read and relax, this is the perfect place for all that. Very helpful were the written tips and assistance from the owners, from hiking recommendations to addresses of doctors and hospitals, everything was thought of! We will be back, thank you very much!

14 Tage Dolce Vita
Top Ausstattung, wir haben wirklich nichts vermisst. Die Lage von Casa Limone
mit den tollen Ausblicken ist einfach wunderschön, wenn auch die Anfahrt mit
Hänger ein kleines Abenteuer war. Enge, kurvige Straße, aber die Italiener sind
ein tiefenentspanntes Völckchen und somit kein wirkliches Problem.
Wir können Casa Limone uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.
Die komplete Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend zum Motorradfahren. Egal
ob Küstenstraße oder Hinterland.
Hier noch 3 Tipp´s zum Essen gehen. Einmal das Macaroni, super leckere
Pastagerichte, echt große Portionen zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Wir waren
in den letzten 10 Jahren immer wieder mal Gast.
Dann sollte man unbedingt im Val Prino Agriturismo einen Tisch reservieren.
Essen beginnt immer um 20.00Uhr und man weis nicht was es gibt. Spannend
und Lecker.
5xAntipastie, 2xPasta, 2xFleisch, Nachtisch, Wein/Wasser/Espresso inkl. für
30 Euro pro Person.
Die Pizzeria Dolcedo Di Draicchio Michelangelo, direkt im Ortskern macht
für uns die beste Pizza, unbedingt die Calzone probieren.
Unser Tipp zum Olivenöl kaufen. Von uns seit 10 Jahren getestet und für sehr
gut befunden. Kleiner Familienbetrieb mit sehr hoher Qualität.
Wir lieben Ligurien und kommen sicher bald wieder.

Wunderschöne Tage im Casa Limone
Ein perfekter Tagesbeginn beim Morgenkaffee mit 180 Grad Panoramablick auf die Berge Liguriens, am Abend ein Holzfeuer im Ofen im Wohnzimmer. Casa Limone lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ein perfekt ausgestattetes Haus, ein Haus zum Wohlfühlen. Im wunderschönen Garten kann man bei absoluter Ruhe im Liegestuhl entspannen oder auch direkt ab Haus Spaziergänge durch Olivenhaine oder hoch zur Kapelle S. Brigida unternehmen. Die Provinzhauptstadt Imperia ist in 25 Minuten zu erreichen, immer wieder schön die Altstadt Parasio in Porto Maurizio und als Gegensatz das städtische Oneglia.
Und besonders erwähnenswert: ein Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück – in ligurischen Dörfern wahrlich eine Seltenheit!

Traumhaus in Trincheri
2 Wochen Urlaub in diesem Traumhaus sind nun leider vorbei.
Was auf den Bildern schon Vorfreude weckte, wurde dann vor Ort noch übertroffen
Morgens der Blick beim Frühstück in die Berge
und abends auf der Dachterrasse der Blick auf das Meer,
sowie das Sonnenbad auf der Liege im Garten gehörten genauso dazu wie die Wanderungen direkt vom Haus aus und die Spaziergänge am Meer.
Nicht zu vergessen: die netten und jederzeit hilfsbereiten Vermieter.
Wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Charmantes Ferienhaus in ruhige Lage mit toller Dachterrasse
Wir (Familie mit 1 Sohn, 14) haben unseren 2-wöchigen Aufenthalt in den Sommerferien sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll restauriert worden. Fantastisch der Blick aus dem Panoramafenster der Küche und ganz wunderbar die Dachterrasse, die wir zum Frühstück und Abendessen gern genutzt haben, oder einfach um Abends bei einem Wein den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, den schönen Grillplatz im umgebende Garten haben wir ebenfalls gern genutzt. Zum Einkaufen im Supermarkt sind es ca 15 min. und in ca 20 min. erreicht man einen angenehmen Strand, der nicht überfüllt war. Im nahen Dolcedo fanden wir gute Restaurants, wenn wir einmal nicht selber kochen wollten. Für uns war das schöne Haus ein Ort der Ruhe, weg vom Massentourismus der großen Küstenorte, und ein toller Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der umgebenden Region. Fazit für uns: sehr empfehlenswert wenn man entspannte Ferien genießen möchte.

Erholung pur
Viele Jahre verbringen wir unseren Urlaub immer wieder in Ligurien. "Casa Limone" und das "App. Oliva" wurden von uns auf Herz&Nieren geprüft und bewohnt :)
Es fehlt an nix, gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet kamen wir schnell aus dem Alltagsstress in den Urlaubsmodus.
Die Gegend lädt ein, um Ruhe zu genießen... Ein kleiner Spaziergang in die Olivenhaine... oder aber Trubel am Strand oder in den Städten (Porto Maurizio, Allassio, San Remo) zu erfahren. Außerdem sind die ligurischen Küstengebiete oder Seealpen die reinsten Genussstrecken für Motorradfahrer wie uns. Wir kommen selbstverständlich immer wieder ;)
