Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in the district of Holzhau in the municipality of Rechenberg-Bienenmühle in the Ore Mountains. The spacious property is characterised by its attractive, very quiet, secluded location in Oberholzhau (altitude 765 m) with a wide view of the Mulde valley, the spacious garden, situated directly on the edge of the forest with direct access to the extensive cross-country skiing network (80 km) and hiking area of Oberholzhau (hiking, inline skating, skating, cycling, mountain - biking), and by the possibility of optimal stargazing. The restaurants 'Fischerbaude' and 'Talblick' are within walking distance. In winter, besides cross-country skiing, tobogganing on the prepared toboggan slope, downhill skiing (3 lifts) and ice skating are possible. The location of the house is particularly attractive for cross-country skiing in winter, as the high-altitude cross-country ski trail with connection to the 80 km cross-country ski trail network runs directly along the house and Oberholzhau is considered snow-sure. In snowy weather, the access road is not passable by car and must be parked on a cleared car park at the access road ( footpath to the house approx. 160 m)

Nostalgic and quiet on the edge of the forest
We spent a wonderful and relaxing hiking holiday in this lovingly furnished and well-kept holiday flat. The historic house is very quiet and idyllically situated on the edge of the forest, with a view over mountain meadows to the valley. The Kammweg / hiking trail runs right behind the house and you can quickly hike over to the Czech Republic
Our hostess took care of everything so that our expectations were exceeded by far! We will be very happy to come back.

Great domicile for a time out!
A holiday flat to feel good in - cosy and furnished with attention to detail. Everything is very clean and in its place. In winter, the tiled stove heats up the place. The quiet location with a beautiful view made us forget the time. Directly from the house you can go on the charming hiking trails or the cross-country skiing trails right into the Czech Republic. It is definitely worth coming back at other times of the year.
