Welcome to our guest farmhouse Ortensia Biancospino. A nice place to enjoy your holiday.
This characteristic stone farmhouse is an historical building belonging to 19th century completely renovated and refurnished in typical, comfortable tuscan style in 2014.
The house consists of 2 semi-detached houses fully self contained and completely independent Ortensia and Biancospino. Each one of them has its private garden and its own entrance on opposit sides of the building. The elegant style and attention to detail, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
It is Located on the hillside overlooking the sea of Forte dei Marmi (only 6 km from the house) and surrounded by hills covered by centennial olive trees and vineyards .It offers a quiet relaxing atmosphere and it is a very romantic location .
Immersed in the nature and in the quiet, you can get to the house walking up few easy stairs of an ancient typical stairway.
The access to the house is only via ancient easy stairway 43m (1 minute). It is an easy ancient mule track. These steps leads you to a romantic paradise. The holiday house has a lift to bring luggages to the house.
Perfect base for a holiday , far from busy crowds and yet with easy access to all main Tuscan attractions and resorts. From each room of the holiday house the view is panoramic , sweeping over the Tuscan hills and valley to the sea beyond
BIANCOSPINO ACCOMODATION: The house is laid out over one floor.
It has a large Tuscan kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, satellite TV ( 42" flat screen ), Wi-Fi internet ,1 double bedroom , 1 large bathroom . The whole accomodation Biancospino has been completely renewed in 2014 . It has terracotta floors and has been furnished with country antiques which enhance the romantic atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern facilities, dish washer, microwave, cooker, fridge, freezer, kettle, all cutlery, crockery pots pans and all you need to cook dining room opens onto the lovely terrace surrounded by the greenery and equipped with a covered patio, table, chairs, loungers and a barbecue.
OUTSIDE: private fenced garden shaded by olive and fruit trees, it is bordered by a stream and it's equipped with barbecue, table, chairs and deck-chairs and a covered nice covered patio, equipped with table and chairs, is lovely for eating outside , relaxing, or sitting with a glass of wine. From the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view which extends from the hills to the sea.
Farmhouse Biancospino is located in Strettoia, a delightful hamlet .

Holiday house Biancospino set among olive groves is located in Strettoia. Strettoia is a quiet village, it is located in the first hill which can be seen from the beach in Forte dei Marmi. From the house to the sandy beach of Forte Dei Marmi there are only 7 km away! In the square of the village, at disposal of visitors, a grocery shop a café and a very good pizzeria . In the side streets there are a number of restaurants and pizzerias that offer very good prices for the real Tuscan specialties. We suggest you to enjoy the good cooking and the local wines.
The village lies between several small towns and villages: Pietrasanta with its famous historical centre, Forte dei Marmi famous for its beaches and for exclusive shopping, Seravezza at the foot of the Apuan Alps. The sandy beach and its well known bathing establishments are only 7 km far from the farmhouse. In the area there is also a free natural beach with free parking. You are here in the heart of Versilia region, which covers an area of approximately 160 square kilometers between the Tyrrenischem sea and the Apuan Alps.
Versilia is the name of a long coastal region in northern Tuscany. Famous for its 20 km of golden beaches, the extensive pine forests, the nightlife, the nights on the beaches, the cities of art, the cultural and musical events. Cottage Biancospino is ideal for those who love the sea, the mountain and the cities of art. It’s possible to visit FLORENCE, PISA, LUCCA, PIETRASANTA with daily trips. Many natural beauties such as the CINQUE TERRE, the MARBLE QUARRIES in Carrara or the TUSCAN ARCHIPELAGO can be reached with daily trips. A few km from the house is the mountainous area of the Apuan Alps , with its ancient stone villages, waterfalls and hiking paths with breathtaking views ranging from the mountains to the sea. It's possible to mix crazy nights with others of complete relax. Pietrasanta has always been an important cultural centre in important artisan tradition ( artistic-mosaic and artistic-foundries) has been kept alive by the local workshops and atelier. The house is 10 minutes from the centre of the town.

Great holiday in very nice flat
This flat captivated us from the very beginning of the planning process and undoubtedly stood out among numerous other offers in northern Tuscany. And: we were not disappointed at all, but found an ambience and an environment as it was described to us, desired by us and also enjoyed. After two years of holiday abstinence, the 14 days turned out to be a wonderful holiday with unbelievable possibilities for discovering culture, landscape and pure relaxation, which we will always remember, also due to the encounter with the very open-minded landlady Lorella and her husband Fabio.

Beautiful family holiday
Very beautiful holiday flat in an old farmhouse. Flat and farmhouse in top condition! The garden is also very well maintained! With a glass of red wine (possibly from the organic winegrower, 5 min. by car), it is very nice to sit outside (see photos). Everything is very lovingly furnished! In the village there're three pizzerias / restaurants within five to fifteen minutes walking distance, depending on which one you choose. All away from the mass tourism, really recommendable! The hosts Lorella and Fabio are very nice! And on arrival, Lorella gives valuable tips on restaurants, the beach, culture, shopping etc..... we can only say everything is top!!!!

Traunhaft beautiful accommodation
The accommodation is exactly as shown in the pictures. You can relax wonderfully. The accommodation is very clean and very nicely furnished. Whether you want to cook or barbecue, there are all the necessary kitchen utensils and plenty of crockery available. The landlords are very nice and incredibly helpful. When we arrived, they took a lot of time to inform us about restaurants and sights. You get very good tips from the landlords. Bed linen and towels were also provided in sufficient quantity. The large garden is very beautiful and well maintained. Everything is completely uncomplicated and simply wonderful. You can simply enjoy your holiday in this place and in this holiday flat. We will definitely come back next year.

Lovely place
The place is truly beautiful. The apartment is beautiful and well-maintained, with lovely furnishings. The stone walls have a special charm. The garden is enchanting, the view breathtaking, and above all, the stream that runs alongside the stone path leading to the apartment is dreamy. The organization of the funicular that allows you to bring items and/or groceries to the apartment from 10am to 6pm is great.

Great vacation rental
The holiday home, which is more like a holiday apartment (Ortensia is in the same house but has an independent entrance at the back and is on the 1st and 2nd floors, while Biancospino is on the ground floor), is 100% as described and shown in the photos. The holiday home is very clean and really lovingly furnished. The gardens are very well maintained. The owners are always very helpful, very friendly, and have many tips for the free beach and good and also inexpensive restaurants. If you want to relax, this is the right place. This is how vacation is really fun :)

Sehr sehr schöne Ferienwohnung
Eine sehr schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit eigenem Garten und Grill. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Blick von der Terrasse Richtung Meer am Horizont.
Die beiden Vermieter sind sehr nett und haben auch gute Tipps für den freien Strand und verschiedene Märkte in der Umgebung.
