Das Schmiedhaus is located on the southern slope about 1 km from Kaprun.
The blacksmith's house is very popular among guests for the coziness, the quiet and the 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The bedrooms are not big, there is opposite, that there is no seat / sofa bed in the house. So for each guest a wonderful hotel box spring J. The sunny location and the beautiful view on the Kitzsteinhorn is very pleasant and beautiful. The chalet is only rented as a chalet. So 100% single use.
In the high season weeks there is a fixed price for the whole cottage.

Location and surroundings of object
Fuerth is a quit rest village from the southern slope of Kaprun. Just 2 car minutes from the center of Kaprun, first ski slope and supermarkt. Ski bus station just about 100 meter from the cottage. The view is amazing. You look over Kaprun and at the Kitzsteinhorn.

Old cottage but well equipped
The house consists of 2 apartments, we rented these apartments together for 12 people.
There were a few shortcomings upon arrival but these were quickly resolved either by the caretaker or by ourselves.
The kitchens are well equipped, although a microwave is missing. The ovens work very well. The WiFi is available everywhere but does not always work properly.
The dining table is tight for 12 adults, but we solved this by adding an extra outdoor table. The heated ski storage room is very convenient.
The view of the mountains and the horses is fantastic. All in all, we had a nice stay!

DE CHARME VAN EEN AUTHENTIEK OOSTENRIJKS CHALET TOCH ANDERS DAN EEN HOTEL
Ik begreep dat u normaal in hotels verblijft. De charme van das Schmiedhaus trok u echter aan en u wilde eens een vakantiehuis proberen…
Alle ruimtes zijn duidelijk gefotografeerd. De foto’s spreken voor zich. De eettafel is gedekt gefotografeerd, in de inventarislijst staat wat er in de keukens aanwezig is en de aanwezige apparatuur is vermeld. Ook wordt de locatie van het chalet duidelijk weergegeven. Ons advies is 12 tot max 16 volwassenen voor genoeg persoonlijke ruimte. Daarom bieden wij de mogelijkheid das Schmiedhaus met 12 personen al te boeken. Er worden geen kamers afgesloten.
Met 12 personen in een chalet met 8 slaapkamers, 2 woonkamers en een grote slaapzolder heb ik u tips aangedragen waar u uw koffers en de droogrekken neer kon zetten. De hele week had u super fantastisch weer. Frisse berglucht in je kleding is het aller lekkerst. Daarom de tip de droogrekken in de zon voor het chalet neer te zetten. Komt er onverwacht een bui? Geen probleem. Door het grote overstekende dak, blijft de was droog. Tips hoe u uw eten in pannen, koekenpannen en oven klaar kon maken.… Pantoffels die door de vorige gasten waren vergeten en helaas ook door het reinigingsteam is spijtig, maar wat anders dan een niet schoon chalet. U reed een elektrische auto. Zoals in de beschrijving valt te lezen is het niet toegestaan een elektrische auto met stroom van het chalet op te laden. U stond erop dat we een laadpaal in de regio voor u reserveerden. Ik heb voor u uitgezocht waar deze te vinden zijn en ze voor u in kaart gebracht.
U heeft zich gerealiseerd, dat een vakantiechalet echt anders is dan een hotel. Daarom is fijn, dat er voor ieder wat wils is in de regio. Wel jammer dat uw review daar onder heeft moeten leiden…..

Leuk huis voor 2 families
Strenge huisregels, maar dat zorgt er ook voor dat het netjes blijft.
Mooi sfeervol huis. Leuk om samen met 2 families in te verblijven, doordat het een wat grotere woonkamer met grote tafel en wat meer zitplekken heeft, zodat je samen kunt eten of een spelletje doen.

Geweldige locatie!
Een hele fijne tijd gehad in de accommodatie. Na een dag weg voelde het bij terug komst als thuis. We hebben het naar ons zin gehad met het gezin. De accommodatie zit op een mooie plek. Met in de voortuin paarden. Leuk voor de kinderen om naar te kijken. En uiteraard een pluspunt aardige en meegaand verhuurders. Hopelijk in de toekomst weer!

Great family holiday
It was a wonderful holiday in the Zell am See region. Because the pandemic got in the way, we had to postpone our holiday by a year. This all went flawlessly and the landlord was great about accommodating us. It worked out great. When we were allowed to enter the country, we found a beautiful old farmhouse that had been updated to the latest standards. We were in the house with three generations and everything was fine. The layout of the rooms is perfect for larger groups and the facilities are great. The communication on site was also smooth. We felt completely comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation. Beautiful house, fantastic view, good facilities.

Sehr gute Kommunikation, trotz Corona Krise
Durch Corona mussten wir alles um ein Jahr verschieben ,was zum Glück problemlos funktionierte. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war immer sehr gut. Alles hat bis jetzt einwandfrei geklappt. Wir freuen uns auf unserem Aufenthalt im nächsten Jahr.

Een leuke, authentieke, gezellige, goed gesitueerde vakantiewoning voor de hele familie!
Wij hebben ons verblijf als zeer positief ervaren. Wij verbleven er met 17 gasten, 10 volwassenen en 7 kinderen. De woning is sfeervol en authentiek op de goede manier. Uitzicht was fantastisch.

Mooi, sfeervol en compleet chalet op een goede locatie
Het chalet ligt op een mooie locatie tussen Zell am See and Kaprun met op loopafstand de skibushalte. Het chalet is met aandacht ingericht om een gezellige sfeer te creëren. Bedden slapen goed en de kamers zijn praktisch ingericht. Een paar kamers zijn beperkt qua ruimte voor 2p maar vergeleken met de foto's viel het juist ook weer mee gezien de beschikbaarheid van kasten, haakjes e.d. Het is een mooi, schoon en compleet chalet. Ook de aparte (verwarmde) opbergruimte voor ski's is heel fijn. Het is prettig dat er twee ruime woonkamers zijn zodat je evt. nog kunt splitsen met een grote groep. Wij hebben een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad en een prettige communicatie met de verhuurders.

Schön und sehr modern
Es hat uns insgesamt sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist schön und sehr modern eingerichtet, auch die Küchenausstattung ist gut. Eine Gruppe von 13 Personen kann im oberen Wohnzimmer noch relativ bequem am Tisch sitzen.

Prachtig chalet
Mooi authentiek Oostenrijks chalet, maar van binnen zoals je het als Nederlander wil. Dus een lekkere eettafel en een lekkere zithoek met een bankstel. We hadden de oud en nieuw week het hele huis gehuurd met 17 personen. Beide keukens hadden we dan ook wel nodig. Huis was schoon. Skiën in Zell am See of Kaprun aan te raden. Wij hebben ok een dagje Hinterglemm gedaan.Leuk voor de afwisseling. We willen voor de tweede keer boeken, maar anderen waren ons voor. Aanrader dus!

Lovely time at das Schmiedhaus with lots of space for everyone to relax
We had a lovely time at das Schmiedhaus. It is a really great house and was perfect for our family gathering. Everyone liked it very much and I hope that maybe one day we shall be able to return. Everything was perfect - lots of kitchen equipment, comfy beds, and just perfect in every way. The four oldest grandchildren - girls aged 8, 7, 6 and 5 - greatly enjoyed sleeping in the loft bedroom! There was lots of space for everyone to relax. None of us knew the area of Kaprun and Zell am See, so it was very nice to explore and discover how beautiful it is.
Thank you so much for allowing us to experience and enjoy your lovely house.

Baulärm vom Montag bis Samstag ab 6:45 Uhr bis zum Abend
Das Haus ist in Ordnung , die Zimmer zum Teil sehr klein aber für eine große Familie gut geeignet . Das wirklich NEGATIVE war , das vier Meter neben dem Schmiedhaus eifrig gebaut wurde und der Lärm schon um 6:45 in der Früh los gegangen ist. Die Vermieter denen eben diese "Baustelle " gehört, waren vor Ort und haben auf meine Frage wie lange das noch dauert , kein Wort der Entschuldigung gefunden, nur eine sehr flapsige Bemerkung das bauen eben Lärm macht . Unsere Parkplätze bzw. unsere Autos waren zugeparkt und wir mussten erst die Arbeiter holen. Sogar am Samstag wurde bis 15:30 gearbeitet und das mit Maschinen zum Steine schneiden. Sie hätten mit einer entsprechenden Information und einer netten Entschuldigung den negativen Eindruck für uns aus der Welt schaffen können.

Das Schmiedhaus
We hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad in Das Schmiedhaus. Het huis ziet er keurig en schoon uit en omdat wij met 18 personen verbleven, waren de 2 verdiepingen heel fijn. Het huis ligt heel centraal, dus tussen Sell am See en Kaprun in. De eigenaren waren ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kortom, een hele fijne accomodatie waar we graag weer terug willen komen.

Sehr gute Lahge
uriges Haus mit sehr guter Lage und tollem Blick, nette Vermieter - telefonisch immer erreichbar, hat alles reibungslos geklappt, Zimmer sind recht klein, teilweise nur mit kleinen Hängeschränken - gerade im Winter/Skiurlaub, wo man einiges mehr an Gewand zum verstauen hat. Skiraum und Skischuhtrockner ist vorhanden, Brötchenservice perfekt, tolle Küchenausstattung, Bäder für 20 Personen zu wenig bzw zu klein.

After the Schmiedhaus followed HAUS ALMKREEK in KAPRUN in 2005 and HAUS AM BACH in FÜRTH in 2017. Our children grew up with it and together we enjoy the mountains, the climate, the people, the culture, the food every time. We have furnished the houses from our own perspective. We used to be the unlucky person with the sofa bed! You will therefore not find them in our houses. For each guest a hotel box-spring bed in a bedroom, where you can relax as you need it. High quality houses with fully equipped kitchens, comfortable sitting areas, large dining tables ... You will find it with us. Many guests have had a wonderful holiday with us in recent years.
