Our holiday home was totally renovated in 2012.
Both flats are separately lockable.
Easy-care vinyl floors throughout the house.
New kitchens in both flats with dishwasher and microwave, ceramic hob and oven, fridge with freezer
In the lower flat there is a bathroom with bathtub and shower, a sep. toilet and a washing machine
In the upper flat there is a bathroom with bath and shower.
The lower flat is barrier-free.
A telephone connection from EWE with internet access and free telephone calls within Germany.
In front of and behind the house there is a terrace with a thuja screen. There are two garden tables with 12 chairs, 2 standing baskets and 2 small tables with a bench and two armchairs each, as well as 3 loungers. The garden is fenced so ideal for children and dogs!

Location and surroundings of object
Arle is attached to the entire municipality of Grossheide. It is a quiet residential area, close to the various Siels into East Frisia. Whether you want to go to Norddeich, Nessmersiel, Dornumersiel, Bensersiel, etc., it is only a few kilometres away.
From the various Siels, you can take the appropriate ferry to the East Frisian islands. Special trips take you to the seal banks where you can learn about the cute animals on guided tours. At the seal sanctuary in Norddeich you can see the little howlers where they are lovingly reared until they are allowed back into the North Sea.
If you would like to go on a mudflat hike, there are experienced mudflat guides at the various Siels!
Nearby there are also bathing lakes, in Tannhausen, where big and small children can have fun.
If you want to visit museums, you will find the Tea Museum in Norden, the Moor Museum in Moordorf and the famous brewery in Jever.
Each of the Siels also has large baths, such as the Ocean Wave in Norddeich or the Nordseetherme in Bensersiel.
The museum train will take you around depending on what is on offer, but mostly at weekends.
In Emden you can take a harbour tour or on the other side of East Frisia you can visit a military museum in Wilhelmshaven.
Aurich is about 20 minutes away from Arle. It has museums, a new bath and the EEZ ,where you can learn about wind power in a playful way. A MUST for anyone interested in technology!
Esens is a small town for strolling and shopping, and of course the same goes for the coastal towns like Greetsiel, Norddeich etc.
Most of the islands have an airfield, so you can also see the Wadden Sea from above!
Cycling is big in East Frisia. There are 2 bikes in the garage or if you want you can rent a bike in Westerende (at the petrol station, about 4 minutes by car). It has a large number of cycle paths, cycle maps can be found in the house on the shelf by the TV in the downstairs flat.

Why are we already here for the 4th time?
Very quiet location and yet centrally located; the various attractions - beaches, islands, shopping opportunities, museums, etc. - all just a few minutes away by car.
The equipment leaves little to be desired - we just feel comfortable here!
recommend for: holiday with children, holiday with pet, cultural and sightseeing holiday, beach holiday
